It's pretty standard for a decent bar at RRP.

I jumped on it immediately - Usually wouldnt think twice with huge corporations, but then I had a read of their website and asked them to cancel my order or charge me the actual value
It's kind of like when the Timley Coffee promo got posted. They honoured. Wonder if they benefited from it in the long-run.

Why do they taste so atrocious?
For people debating whether or not they're a small company. Some things to take into account…
Looking at their stockists https://bluedinosaur.com.au/pages/store-locator, they seem to be all over the world and have 1482 in Australia alone.
They're big enough to pay bakeries to manufacture their products (https://bluedinosaur.com.au/pages/faqs), so the video at the beginning is slightly misleading as to how their products are made now. No hand baking by the couple.
Here's the big one. The family business was bought out by Forbidden Foods for $4 million in 2021 (https://www.foodanddrinkbusiness.com.au/news/forbidden-foods-acquires-blue-dinosaur-for-4m#:~:text=Forbidden%20Foods%20has%20forecast%20its,to%20strengthen%20global%20market%20distribution.. Forbidden Foods is a company listed on the ASX (https://www2.asx.com.au/markets/company/fff)
Not saying it's a huge company, but the idea that this is a still a small family run business is not true.
I wonder if Blue Dinosaur will respond to this.

I did a tonne of research into healthy snack bars and these came up best. Healthy ingredients, no soy or other bad stuff. Taste pretty good too.

Hahaha these comments are brutal.. haven't tried yet but keen to. Reading the ingredients list it makes sense, it's a pretty barebones protein bar. But then again I wouldn't expect a product they actually want people to buy to get so many bad review.. maybe wrong market. I remember when I used to drink unflavoured rice and pea protein.. surely this is much better than drinking that.
Bars were just hand delivered by post lady banging on my door, not sure why she didn't place the package in the letter box, she must have known it was important……… and yikes, no wonder they are giving them away. Not quite sure which ingredient is making this foul taste, but damn can't have another bite.

Can’t believe how bad they taste. Peanut butter tastes burnt, plastic and is totally dry. I nearly had a litre of milk to get the taste out of my mouth. The chocolate one is a little bit better. Very chewy and I would eat it if I would have nothing else to eat in emergencies. I rather eat that than die. I wonder if they did this by purpose and used us at Guinea pigs. Or did we get all a bad batch they wanted to get rid of anyway? There is no chance in the world I would spend one cent for these bars.

I'm super glad I got these for free, because they are absolutely fkn awful. I got a mixed box, and I tried every one of them, and they're all disgusting. Tastes like burnt, dried weetbix soaked in oil with bitter herbs mixed in.
Makes me wonder if this whole thing was some elaborate practical joke.
Do yourself a favour and immediately bin them when they arrive.

Just recieved mine. The brownie bites were soo delicious, taste like they were just freshly made. Energy bars also taste fantastic. Paleo snack bars: hit and miss, some tasted chemical-y. I'm going to have to stock up on those brownie bites though…
bizzarre, i just went to order more brownie bites and they've vanished from the site, along with their protein bars - oops, was on the US site
Haven't tried the cookie dough ones yet, but had a lamington bar and it was pretty decent. Definitely wasn't inedible, quite coconutty.
Got the cookie dough and agree that it is awful to eat. I almost vomit, have to throw the one in my mouth away.
