  • I had one of these before. It looks all nice on the Amazon description. When you receive it first you will see differences that you get cheap stickers to use instead printed Lego parts. Also there were some color differences in some parts which didn’t make it look niet like in the description. The car is also very fragile. It still looks good no doubt. Hopefully Lego can create in future printed parts instead of cheap stickers.

They can but charge us double.
Not because expensive to make but because they ae greddy of profits

I’m happy to pay $5 more for printed parts.

    • The amazon pictures clearly show stickers
Some (not the majority) of the speed champions sets are fragile but this one is not. The fragile parts are usually only side mirrors though and (rarely) a spoiler.
Didn't notice any color differences in this set

Totally agree they should charge more $ and do all printed parts though. Particularly for this set, the stickers are mostly clear so you get fingerprints on them. They mostly can't be seen when the sticker is fully applied, but the microscopic air bubbles can somewhat.

FYI these were all < $24 last week at DJs (25% off) and eBay (with codes).

    • I think DJ only had the lotus?
But yeah, $27/$28 are this year's models, other are previous year.
Normal price, nothing to rush about

      • No they had the others. I bought the Ferrari, Lotus and Countach for $24.71ea, and the AMG dual-car set for $52.46.

EDIT. I thought I paid $23.71, just checked order history and they were $24.71.

        • Oh right, by the time I checked they only had the lotus and AMG.
They'll drop to sub $24 on Amazon eventually

@ShouldIBuyIt: Yep I think so too. But for the price paid I was happy to be able to build them now.

  • Target is $28, so Amazon seem to be matching that as cheapest retail price.

  • waiting for Target discounts. do you guys know when this will happen?

wish they'd gone with anything but white for this Lambo. For a beautiful vehicle, it just looks so 'meh'.

    • Yeah I recently built it with my son and though it looks nice from behind (the lights), the white isn't doing this iconic car any favours.

    • This was the first car i saw and loved. I saw it in white. I'm super happy that the lego is white too.

I'm doing the big moc countach next

      https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-82416/firas_legocars/10295-…

Both in white will go great next to each other

      • You bought the instructions?

  • Any buyers may want to check out led light kits on google/amazon before you build them, yes can be pricey, but could save time if you change mind

    • A small kit like this wouldn't saved much time even if you decided to retrofit the light later.
Also, this kit is so good that I wouldn't mind to build it more than once.

  • This was $23.99 on Amazon back on March 12th. I bought one then.

Does this set use the same headlight pieces at the Lego 300zx but with sticker covering the Nissan logo?

    • I see what you did there

      • :)

so long as we have one person that got it I'm happy…
