DAE anyone else ever get home after a long slog at work with a large kfc zinger box, pour a shot of Johnnie walker blue into the upsized pepsi max (sourced with cashback and), kick off the shoes and watch re-runs of golden era simpsons (s1-8) and wonder where it all went wrong?

    • Mostly no, just the last part. Though it's probably with the episode 'The Principal and the Pauper', or the one where Homer gets a gun.

I was more referring to my life as going wrong -but i guess this works too.

BTW the way, I had to look up DAE only to tell that you said:

Does anyone else anyone else ever (…)?

      • Maybe he's symbolising the echo that is present in his empty home

      • It’s what I get for multitasking

If it makes you feel any better, I've learned that life is just one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead

      • That's season 5

That's all well and good for you, but I used to rock and roll all night and party every day. Then it was every other day… now I'm lucky to find half an hour a week in which to get funky.

    • only watch the s1 to recent treehouse of horror specials these days.

  • Didn't they once say they'd stop releasing the seasons on disc? Obviously they like money…

Pumped out the missing 2 or 3 seasons for the diehards who had all the others, though idk what the sitch is post season 20. I remember 20 got a release in the day but it was lacklustre, (profanity) all features or anything, been long enough they could rerelease it with the commentaries and stuff for the collectors anyways.

I remember having a bunch of the various episode ones on VHS and then a bunch load more on DVD and the early seasons' books saying something to the effect of "buy them now on DVD, until the next format comes along and makes this obsolete"
