This is the best priced light bar with RGB with good quality.

      • best priced doesnt mean its cheap.

Seriously how much do you think it costs to make this thing? $15?

        • $10?

        • You will be surprised on the BOM on some of these, can be as much as $3-5 per unit.

      • The controller is super convenient too. Great quality

    • yea same. Was wondering that the other day. the perception that things out of china are cheap has been dying a slow death. Things before used to be 50-80% cheaper than made in AU or USA, however i feel like the gap has narrowed to be maybe 20%?

thats just my uneducated, no facts opinion :p

I'm with yiu, the Oppo Find X 5 Pro is $1800 on release, you can buy an iPhone 13 Pro max 128GB for $50 more with 5 years of updates. I'm an Android fan but there's no way I'd spend $1800 on a Chinese made phone.

        • iPhone made in china too, is it safe to call you samsung fan then? and removing all chinese made components from your samsung, probably only Exynos chip left.

          • @BrianGriffin: My mistake, I meant to say Chinese OEM running Color OS or similar. Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo etc. I actually have a Pixel 6 Pro which is manufactured in China due the pandemic. I actually used to have a Xiaomi Mi 9T but there's no way I'd pay $1800 for it. Even $1300 for the 6 Pro is too much, it's a $1K phone at best

    • Chinese people are the consumers now lol… why do you think items from Xiaomi, Hisense, Haier, Lenovo, TCL, and Anker command premiums now?

      • Yeah I guess so. I have a Hisense TV and it's (profanity) garbage. I'll be never buy a Hisense TV again

Don't know about consumer electronics but white goods are good from Hisense. Samsung fridges are horrible.

          • @Sheng: My tv is garbage but I bought it some time ago so maybe they have improved since then

Was seriously thinking of buying it until it was $24 shipping

  • I am waiting for the curved light bar to go on sale so I can pair it with my curved Xiaomi 34" monitor.

  • The timing of these posts makes me do impulse buys. I mean my eyes were being strained from the poor lighting of my lamp and ceiling is too bright for the night…

  • I used this photo light i got for $45 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/667913. Prrfect! Was about to buy this kind but then remembered i bought smallrig and its doing nothing.

  • Few would buy it at the regular price, at that price Benq is lot more attractive.

  • This shop is never producing good deals. Mostly always advertising… hopeless

  • Gave this a punt, for ~$80 it's a reasonable alternative but agree that the Benq would definitely be the better buy at the RRP. This has more/better gaming features with the RGB rear LEDs. However, I'm a bit skeptical of the CRI being 90, there is still a noticable green tinge to the front LEDs at higher colour temperatures. The Benq claims to have 95 CRI and I could believe it, it looks a lot better when I briefly checked it out. Overall for office use, I wouldn't recommend this over the Benq even at this discounted price just because I find more accurate colours much easier on the eyes (particularly if there is decent natural lighting in the room, then the colour issues are even more striking). Would be pretty annoyed if I'd paid the full RRP, but for $80 it's good enough

Incidentally I've bought other stuff from this store and it does seem to alternate between being quite expensive at RRP, and then occasionally things go on deep discounts and are pretty decent. I'm just waiting for the Staria lamp to go on special again, that one is a fantastic product
