Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC PRO 8G RGB LED Graphics Card $746.10 + Delivery + Surcharge @ Shopping Express

200

Just bought a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING OC PRO 8G (rev. 3.0) 8GB GDDR6 RGB LED Graphics Card for $765.28 incl. delivery + 1% surcharge for select payment methods. This was part of a 10% off sitewide deal which i think runs until midnight tonight.

This card gets pretty good reviews:

Hopefully a big upgrade on my GTX 970!

  • Waiting people to point out Afterpay deal and other people who hate BNPL.

    • I paid upfront. Was this card cheaper on the recent buy now pay later deals? I don't use that if i can avoid it. Some of the other 3060ti deals are pretty good but i liked this for perceived quality of the card. Without the 10% off, which i think has now finished, i might prefer a strix at 899 from centre com. You're nearly in a 3070 at that price though. I feel like 750-780 is about right for a 3060ti of decent quality. Been waiting years for this, so excited 😀

IIRC, the cheapest RTX 3060Ti during Afterpay were 680~ish, the quality one around 720-740

        • Thanks good to know, the one i got is the PRO version which is rated a bit higher so i think i did ok. Right ballpark anyway!

Will try to sell my gtx970 strix to offset some of the cost, hoping for about 250 I reckon. We'll see.

@endor: You are correct the gigabyte oc pros 3060ti are rated highly!

            • @Springkse: New revisions aren't amazing. Rev 1.0 was great as it used the same cooler as the 3070/3070ti. I had a rev 3 and it were quite loud due to an anaemic cooler. Chucked it in "silent" bios mode and it were far more tolerable.

        • How does this compare to the Aorus elite?

  • you know how gigabyte power supply's, and motherboards blow up. Do there video cards do the same?

Didn't know their motherboards were regarded the same as that power supply series. I've had dozens of gigabyte motherboards and graphics cards all without issues.

  • Seems now SE keeps doing 10% sitewide so frequent which is good thing for us

Card arrived and is performing well so far. RDR2 on high and ultra with DLSS is very nice indeed. Will try a few more games tomorrow.

Incidentally I've put this into existing rig and it's working fine. 550W RMx PSU, 6600K overclocked to 4.6GhZ, 2400Mhz RAM overclocked to 3200, ASUS Maximum viii Gene mobo. All about 7 yrs old. Seems to be holding up fine so far…DLSS improved things a lot.
