Are these like some popular brand I've never heard of? Why are they priced similar to Nike and Adidas?

  I guess they've managed to appeal to that niche market of people who actually run when wearing running shoes. I'd wear Kinvaras for a timed run, I wouldn't wear them walking around a shopping centre. Sizes are very limited for this sale, the Running Warehouse one has more stock.
