Plush Sofa's Delivery Cancelled Twice without Notice

Having a really terrible time with Plush Sofas

Events as follows
- Order placed in November 2021 with expected delivery in March/April 2022
-Notified Feb 28 2022 to make full payment as delivery of stock was coming shortly
-March 15 full payment made and delivery date of 1 April 2022 confirmed
-No delivery on April 1. No call back from delivery team until 3 hours after proposed delivery window. Stated that delivery was not happening as it was cancelled in the morning
-Called to reschedule over weekend and Monday
-Rescheduled with for Friday 8 April Delivery. Guaranteed over the phone that delivery would happen with time window texted on Thursday 7 April. Delivery fee refund plus $50 compensation accepted. Told there would be a text on Thursday outlining the delivery window
- Noted no delivery text by 7pm on Thursday. Email sent to Plush to outline this and ask for call back to inform of what is happening
- No phone call on Friday 8 April Morning. Calls to hotline with voicemail and number. No call backs. Calls to sales and after service with messages left. Calls to Auburn store no answer no call back
-Attended Auburn in person where I was told head office to not call back or pickup any of my calls as they wouldn't be able to deliver and didn't want to deal with talking to me about it. Was told nothing they could do locally as Nick Scali taking care of delivery
-Fair trading complaint made

I made several reach outs to their FB and IG without response. I eventually started to make some comments in their IG asking for help and outlining my experience. Only to then be blocked by Plush IG. lol.

ALL I WANT IS MY COUCH. Any other help from the Ozb crew would be great.

    Maybe get a refund and buy from someone else. At least you are $50 up.

      This is an option. But I gave away by old couch in preparation for the delivery. I'm not sure we want to go another 4 months without a couch

      Well you would never have sofa. Its the same almost everywhere.

      I ordered it from Freedom, Nov/Dec for April delivery.

      A number of warnings it might be delayed further. It arrived yesterday.

      As for outdoor furniture order the same time from AMart its now June/July

      Of course you could always just sit by the beach in your car, but dont expect a new car 😀

      Add to that a 6 month wait for a new roof….

      • Yeah I wasn't worried about the wait. Was expected. But the stock is here. They just need to deliver. At the very least let me know if it isn't arriving rather than letting me wait all day and refusing to take my calls

          I was talking to our deliverer (outside metro Sydney) and they said that the Sydney deliveries have been impacted by the weather. Roads blocked, heavy rain.

          Ours was delivered in sunshine, and he said that when it rains it slows things down. They sometimes have to sit in the truck waiting for it to pass.

          And the truck was packed so skipping a delivery when they cant deliver its hard as they have to move the couches etc at the back out each time to get to the ones behind. Not easy in wet weather.

          Given thats not a Plush deliverer and we were on time, I think his explanations would be real , not just making excuses.

          And if HO or the stores are dealing with a number of irate customers they probably are quite stressed.

          Not saying to excuse them, but maybe helping you understand. Some things are possible, some arent.

          That all said I wouldnt have been impressed if ours was delayed either.

    Hope you get it sorted out soon.

    Similar timelines from my experience (Partner ordered new sofas October last year from Plush. ETA January this year, but got delayed until April). However, the delivery for us was quite smooth. They arrived within the 3hr delivery window and set it up very efficiently.

    Now THAT is customer service! How hard is it to go "sorry, xyz went wrong and we won't be able to deliver" the moment they found out the delivery couldn't happen?

    Sounds like the acquisition by Nick Scali is going well too if they can't even talk to each other.

      For me it sounded like OP been harassing NS. It's still April. Considering covid, new covid lockdown in China, NY and Chinese NY.
      Even before covid, NS orders usually take like 3 months.
      Imagine OP building a house and waiting for expected completion date😆

        They're setting 3 hour delivery windows, if the couch isn't even in the country yet then they're stupider than OP makes them out to be.

        Sounds more like they lost it in a warehouse somewhere than anything to do with COVID and are staffed by people with anxiety issues.

      • I had no issue with waiting for stock…. They've given me delivery windows… I'm angry that they are telling me the item is here with delivery window but not delivering

    Update. Found another sofa in stock. Fill refund from plush but only after going in store
