WD 1TB D30 SSD Game Drive Black $149 + Delivery ($0 to Metro Areas/ C&C/ in-Store) @ Officeworks

120

Looking for Portable SSDs but found this. Cheapest price I can find. Not sure about stock numbers. Limited stock on a lot of stores so I guess it's still worth posting? I got mine at a local branch.

Seems to work with both Xbox (limited) and Playstation according to a review I watched. Enjoy!

    • You can get a $20 steam credit too

  • Why is she so thicc for an external SSD?

    • Same question here.

    • Thicc so that it can stand on its edge.

Probably run out sale to make way for next gen smaller drives.

    • That stance though, it matches my euro car

It's clearly a 6-bay NAS. Don't know what the OP is on about.

  • Or a Seagate One Touch 1TB SSD with a much smaller form factor?

    • Cable is really short though. Personally wouldn't want to leave the SSD just hanging off the back of the console.

Would rather the Samsung T7 in this case.

      • Pretty easy to get a USB-C cable.

  • I’m after a 8TB WB Black self powered for my PS5. Any deals on that? Anyone use one too that can give me some feedback?

    • What do you mean "self powered" ?

8TB drives are all 3.5" units and need a mains power adaptor. If you want a drive that can run from USB power then you'll need a <=5TB 2.5" drive.

      • Self powered to my understanding is has its own power and doesn’t get it from a device it’s connected to

        • That's not a thing. All hard drives need power.

  • Can I use this for just a back up for photos and videos? Thanks

    • Yup. I'm using mine for my Mac Mini for exactly that :)
