The Lenovo site-wide discount code that tightarse kindly organised brings the price of the Jabra Evolve2 75 MS USB-C (27599-999-899) headset down to $390.34 (from $487.92). This is the lowest Australian price I could find at the moment ($445.00 from Generation-e Express), and I don't recall the Evolve2 75s priced under $400 since release. Note that this does not include the optional stand - it's the headset and Bluetooth dongle.

The price is the same for the Evolve2 75 MS USB-A version (27599-999-999) and the discount also applies to the other Jabra headsets on the Lenovo site.

The Jabra Evolve2 75 MS wireless headset range has a discrete fold-away boom mic, Jabra's version of active noise cancelling, and connects to both mobiles via Bluetooth and laptops/PCs via a Bluetooth dongle. This MS version is Teams verified, has a bunch of shortcut buttons that tie into Teams, and should also work as a UC headset. More information on the Jabra website

I currently have the Evolve2 65, which shares a number of features and also uses the same Bluetooth dongle. I can easily walk across the office to the kitchen to stay connected during meetings, have had no issues switching between mobile and my laptop, and was pleasantly surprised with the music quality. (Obviously not on par with headsets designed for music, but enough to not make me want to switch headsets to listen to tunes.) The padding on top of the head has been comfortable, which appears to be the same on the 75s too. The shortcut buttons for MS Teams has been handy. I can't speak to the mic or noise cancelling quality on the 75s - mic quality has been good on the 65 and people rarely hear background office noise or children unless it's extremely loud, so I hope that's the same for anyone wanting to grab the 75s.

Top quality headsets. I've got the Evolve2 65 wireless (got it free, woohoo!) but I will say, as a larger noggin'd gentleman, I don't find it comfortable for long periods of time. Hopefully the 75 is more forgiving.

That's fantastic you got it free! Totally jealous :) That being said, compared to the standard wired headsets bricks my work's IT offered, it was worth forking out for the 65s (they were ironically also more comfortable, even without any battery packs in them…)

Not sure about the Evolve2 75 but Evolve2 85 is definitely comfortable to wear for long period of time, since it is over the ear.

  • Dang and here I went thinking engage 75 at $380 was a good deal sigh

Not sure why someone will pay$400 for a mic headset to make video calls?.. beats me.

  • I have a pair of evolve (first gen, not evolve2) headsets from work and they're fantastic. Microphone quality definitely has a big difference compared to standard headsets (i.e. Phone ear buds, Bose qc35 etc.).. A definite noticeable difference, especially when you're on a call with multiple people and some are using the jabra and others are using their iPhone ear buds etc..

I never knew these were so pricey??

    • Yeah wtf, how do these cost so much. Work gives out the 65s, i think they are rubbish comfort wise.

Maybe they come cheap with bulk laptop purchase

UC headsets have always been super super expensive.

Just note to use these headsets with all of the features you must use their USB dongle, not internal Bluetooth.

Also, if you work in IT and you want a new UC headset, get in touch with Jabra / Poly / Logitech, say you're looking to roll out new UC headsets and want some demo headsets. You can usually get 3 or 4 from each vendor.
