francesca2148 on 08/05/2012 - 18:08 ¶Hi cave,
The minimum write/read speed for Class 10 is 10MB/s.
Cheers

I wouldn't say that these card write faster than other brands with cheaper pricing structure.
I would say SanDisk has better quality and performance in overall compared to other brands that is why they mark their prices higher.Cheers

alwayseric on 08/05/2012 - 20:54 ¶do you really know what you are talking about? D90 can take 2 cards? maybe the one i bought a couple of years ago is D9 or D900.

francesca2148 on 08/05/2012 - 23:54 ¶Hi,
Not a problem.
Stocked up 50pcs, i can order them in in just one business day.
I will be dispatching them on thursday.Cheers
ctrlaltdel on 09/05/2012 - 08:36 ¶what do you recommend for Lumix DMC-GF3 camera? extreme or ultra?

If you don't mind the extra $4, extreme is better. Both are fine for the camera actually since 1080p recording on the previous generation of Ultra (class 6) works fine. This new gen of Ultra (class 10) should be able to handle 1080p.
Extreme is great - it is too fast for my card reader.
francesca2148 on 09/05/2012 - 16:21 ¶Hi,
They are all off the warehouse this morning, i couldn't finish all of them yesterday evening (suppose to ship everything by yesterday.. australia post arrived late in the noon)
I have goods coming in different batch, if i ordered them over in bulk i have to put up the specials asap.
Will organize better management flow in future, thanks for the input.Cheers
registradus on 09/05/2012 - 16:31 ¶I'm wondering if it's worth paying extra for the extreme? I will be using it for extra storage in an android tablet, not recording video. Is it worth it?
francesca2148 on 09/05/2012 - 21:18 ¶Hi registradus,
I only have last piece of Class 10 Ultra in stock, well this sale sold more Extreme than the promoted Ultra ones. I think people would prefer that few dollars for an extreme card, seems to be more reliable based on reviews online.
Cheers

Just bought a couple of 8G SDHC with the "FREESHIP" without issue.
Then later on my second order I tried "FREESHIP" on a 8G CF but it wouldn't discount shipping???
Checkout showed "Use FREESHIP" for discount but wouldnt apply.
Still need a new faster CF for my old Pentax istD.
francesca2148 on 09/05/2012 - 21:17 ¶Hi,
I tried & it works. What is the error that you received?
Let me know your order #, i can send you paypal invoice for the extra 8GB CF? Are you after the Extreme ones?Cheers
francesca2148 on 10/05/2012 - 09:56 ¶Hi,
Please send me a msg on Ozbargain and list down the items you are after, i ll see what i can do for you.
Cheers
+1 voteFor people who are unsure about which card to get. It depends on the DSLR you have:
Based on 30 seconds burst test result (RAW+JPEG burst)
- Nikon D7000: Extreme Pro is 2% better than Extreme; Extreme is 16.6% better than Ultra.
- Canon 7D: [CF cards] Extreme Pro is 33% faster than Extreme; Extreme is 25% better than Ultra.
- Canon 5D Mark III: Don't bother with SD cards, even CF Ultra beats SD Extreme Pro.
[CF cards] Extreme Pro is 68% faster than Extreme; Extreme is 25% better than Ultra. - Nikon D800: Extreme Pro is about the same as Extreme; Extreme is 19% better than Ultra (SD/CF no major difference)
- Nikon D4: Extreme Pro is 6.6% faster than Extreme; Extreme is 12% better than Ultra. XQD cards are faster than CF.
In short, CF is generally a better choice (unless your camera has a low burst rate). If you have a good Canon DSLR, you can benefit quite a lot from Extreme Pro. Nikon, on the other hand, Extreme is good enough (benefit from Extreme Pro is very little).

ctrlaltdel on 10/05/2012 - 12:23 ¶btw, has anyone got theirs shipped? my order status still says "Payment accepted"
francesca2148 on 10/05/2012 - 16:12 ¶Hi,
All orders has been dispatched out of my place this morning.
It usually take me 1-2 business days to pack and ship everything before i update the status.Expect your deliveries soon!
Cheers

Received my memory cards today.
For the rep:
Don't take this as a huge criticism, as I appreciate the free shipping. I am just giving you a tip.
The packaging of the order was quite messy, and ends up looking quite unprofessional. It's the kind of packaging I'd expect when buying something ultra cheap from Hong Kong.
Perhaps look into alternative packaging methods, or at least neater packaging. For example, instead of taping the products together with tape, you could have used a rubber band or even just placed them together.
I know you probably have a lot of these to send out, so I can understand the packaging being a bit messy, but just consider this. Thanks
francesca2148 on 15/05/2012 - 17:45 ¶Hi Adamiam,
Thanks for the input.
I am handling all of these on my own, just to speed up the process.
I have ordered in some standard size of envelopes that would fit in these memory cards, without having to make it messy :)
Will organize better dispatch process to be more professional.Cheers
solartommy on 16/05/2012 - 10:34 ¶Received my 32GB Ultra SD card today. Came in a plain envelop with a 60 cent stamp. Surprisingly, the card came with full retail packaging and still able to fit into a standard letter size envelop. Keep up the good work, and I will order again in the future.
Confirmed the SD card is genuine. Compared with another Ultra SD card purchased from JB HiFi, everything looks exactly the same. So this is probably Australian stock as well.
francesca2148 on 16/05/2012 - 11:56 ¶Hi,
I put Registered Post for tracking & insurance service, trying to save cost on the shipping package :)
Thank you for the support.Cheers
