NAB Rewards and Qantas Rewards credit cards

Hi fellow bargainers,

I just want to check if NAB has two independent rewards programs as the Rewards and the Qantas Rewards? I have recently closed a NAB Qantas Rewards card and consider apply for the NAB Rewards card, will I be eligible for the bonus point?

My experience with ANZ Rewards and ANZ Qantas Frequent flyer is that they are 2 independent programs, and you can get bonus from both. Same for NAB???

    From the wording in the two Ts&Cs

    This bonus Qantas Points offer is not available to existing customers who have received or are entitled to receive NAB Qantas Rewards bonus Points for a new personal NAB Qantas Rewards credit card in the twelve months prior to the opening of a NAB Qantas Rewards Signature Card, NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Card or NAB Qantas Rewards Card account. This advertised offer of bonus points is not applicable or valid in conjunction with any other advertised or promotional offer.

    This bonus points offer is not available to existing customers who have received or are entitled to receive NAB Rewards Bonus Points for a new personal NAB Rewards creditcard or NAB Home Loan in the twelve months prior to the opening of a NAB Rewards Signature Cardor NAB Rewards Platinum Card.

    Sounds like they're treated as 2 different schemes, that's news to me

      Yes I had the same impression that it is similar to ANZ, but also it could be like Westpac, where their Altitude card cover both Altitude and Qantas/Virgin program.

      I should chat with NAB to ask.

          Can’t know for sure if the one who chatted with me was competent, but the asnwer was yes, they are two different cards. One belongs to the Rewards and the other to the Qantas rewards. Based on that T&Cs above I think it is safe to go ahead with the Rewards card given I have recently closed a Qantas Rewards card.
