As with all BL games, the chance of getting a legendary item from the chest is very small, and what you do get is never better than what you find dropped in the wild. The best thing to use these for is generating vendor trash you sell straight away so you can spend it on something useful, like SDUs (storage deck upgrades) at the blacksmith. TBH, I’m finding enough cash and picking up enough items through gameplay that I don’t even feel I need to bother. IMHO, the best way of generating income is to regularly enter the Overworld and run around smashing boxes/barrels and opening chests, because they reset between visits.

This. Also this is much more enjoyable once you realise you can slap those enemies who emerge from the tall grass to avoid those random encounter battles.

After about 5 of them I no longer wished to do them.

LOL - that and avoiding the camps (unless you're chasing the challenge/achievement for clearing them).

    Thanks OP!
