I wish the "killer deal", is not 4 X 4.

  • +1

Alarm set for 10am, time to head to bed

    Cheers GYB šŸ»

  • +1

Rip staying up late now. I checked ozbargain perks at 04 to see if their was a deal before sleeping.

  • +3

The only decision for me is whether it's pants on or pants off during the cashback carnival.

    • +3

I can clearly see your nuts

      • +2

        deeze nuts

  • Thanks OP. Was getting bit quiet from SB last days!

  • +1

Just spent a few mins looking for the opt in until I went back here and re-read the starting times lmao. Good deal OP

    • +3

  • +1

I wish BWS was Thursday onwards, I'm waiting to see if anymore wine drops in value šŸ¤£ dammit

  • -1

Has the $3 bonus finished? Not showing up on mine. Ive already join the perks program ages ago

    • +4

I thought the same until I re-read the deal post:

      Dates: Tuesday 3rd May 2022 10:00am AEST & Thursday 5th May 2022 11:59pm AEST.

      • +1

Oh thanks I thought that was the spend period šŸ˜‚ damn I thought I had the WA time advantage.

    • +2

The $3 bonus challenge starts at 10am :)

    • +4

It looks like itā€™s not showing before 10am. Surprised itā€™s not explained properly with all the information above.

  • +5

For those wondering on the maximum spend required to get the max $25 cashback cap:

    ($137.50/1.1) x 0.2 = $25

Taking into account excluding GST and shipping charges

  • +1

Any gift card deals coming up?

  • Does anyone know SIM card purchases from eBay falls under which eBay category in Shopback?

  • +3

The use of any eBay coupon invalidates regular cashback, but I guess is eligible for the $3 bonus?

    • just bought a 'buy it now' item with a coupon code, don't have much faith in eBay, they probably reject it even with $0 cashback.

    • +3

Rep confirmed ages ago in one of the posts
You will still get the bonus from the challenge but normal cashback will get tracked at $0.00

      • +1

still waiting on @gotyourback 's reply in messages to see what's happened to a eBay cashback. šŸ˜…

  • +1

Plus it's just in time for Mother's Day!

Show you love your mum by getting her drunk šŸ¤£

    • I think an epidural is more effective, but thereā€™s no 20% cashback on those

  • BWS :)

  • +5

After the 40% cashback from Shopback got rejected for me.
    No Deal.

    • Same for me and for my Dad too.

That was a huge cashback to miss out on. What a scam

      • Reason for Rejection ?

  • -1

    Seems like bonuses all claimed?

    • Starts at 10:00 AEST

      • Oh thanks. I thought that was start time for purchases :)

  • +1

Does this bonus works for amazon 0.00% categories?

    • +3

      Yep :)

  • If only BWS didn't put their prices so high. Or is it just NSW?

    • Best to check other booze companies as their prices can be higher.

  • hmm hope this last long enough for me to get it

  • -2

Is the limit based on op-in or completing the challenge ? Thanks

  • Got in early

    • it started early, may be 1-2 mins or more earlier

      • Yes, same here, no issues, no lag, but now it's impossible to jump back in

        • haha yeah

  • Got one of the places!

  • Bonus challenge was live earlier! Saw it at 9:58 am.

  • +1

    Managed to get a spot.

  • +1

    Site is dead

  • Is this all gone, I can't see it.

    • +1

Still valid but less than 50 spots! Will be gone in a minute.

      • I checked on my phone & flat mates phone from 10am through to 10:30am AEST, force closed the apps several times and there was no sign of this offer under "Earn More". We are both enrolled in OZBPERKS and have claimed several of these bonus deals in the past.

No idea what happened this time :(

  • Got one, thanks!!

  • Thanks got it!

  • Ok Iā€™m in. Cheers OP!

  • Hi Rep, will this bonus offer works with Goodguys order using store credit?

    • Hey hey, unsure about this one, I'd advise against it just in case. I'll let you know if I hear whether this would work from other users or Good Guys.

  • can't believe 50% slots taken in 3 minutes šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

  • +4

I'm in. 1000 spots gone in a minute, good lord.

    • +6

We are addicted! It is not alcohol or drugs anymore itā€™s SHOPBACK!

      • šŸ„°

  • that's really quick. LOL

    • That's what she said.

  • Hey mates, that bonus is done!
Y'all are too quick, thanks for participating & hope you all enjoy the BWS upsize!

  • Can we use this for Uniqlo U, which is normally excluded in Uniqlo offers?

    • +1

      Unfortunately not.
The order must be trackable/eligible for Cashback (excluding eBay & Amazon 0% Categories, which are eligible).

      Cheers!

      • What is the correct way to determine an Amazon itemā€™s category? The item page usually lists a few, and they rarely match any of the category names in SB.

        • Not sure if you use Facebook, but we've added a few guides on our community page.
Here's the How-to-Guide for Amazon Categories, hope it helps :)

          • @gotyourback: Itā€™d be very helpful if you could repost that content somewhere more accessible.

            • +1

@cynix: Screenshot from the @gotyourback link on How to Guide for Amazon OzBfile

              • @mountains: Thanks for the screenshot!

However this is exactly what I mean. Iā€™m looking at a product that says ā€œHealth, Household and Personal Careā€ as its category according to this faq, but the SB rates list shows different rates for ā€œHealth and Household Productsā€ and ā€œPersonal Careā€. How do I work out which one actually applies?

                • @cynix: By Personal Care you mean

                  Personal Care Appliance 6.00% category

OR if its says Health, Household and Personal Care It falls under

                  Health, Household product 0.00% catagory

Canā€™t find personal care as a sole category.. GYB is right person to clear your doubts I guess.

                  • @mountains: Ah yeah I meant Personal Care Appliance. Still pretty unclear, since neither are an exact match. @gotyourback any comments?

      • Amazon 0% catagories eligible?

        • Read above

          • @Thrifty Dan: i did..and then another comment says need to be eligible for cashback

            • @Aemit: It should be possible to use eBay and Amazon but maybe Contact SB to clear this.

        • +1

Yep, both Amazon and eBay 0% categories will validate this one. Not all stores will validate 0% categories, but eBay and Amazon are fine. As always though, DM me if you have any issues.

  • Hi Rep, was going to put an order in today and try one of these - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/697428

can we use this deal too with the 20% cashback or not due to promo code?

    • +1

Let me get confirmation on this.

      • thanks mate

      • Need to know this too

    • +1

Got confirmation that it'll be approved for Cashback :)

  • Dan Murphy is usually a lot cheaper than BWS
Liquorland is too for that matter

    • +4

      LL promo coming soon ;)

      • Please make it tomorrow (Thursday) as I've almost run out of wine and have the $3 cashback credit to use up my sleeve!

  • Would a eBay auction be eligible with this?

    • +1

Auctions aren't trackable, I'm afraid. 0% categories will still technically track so are fine for bonuses, but not auction items.

  • Oh I thought the ozbperks deal was valid all day and was waiting for the BWS deal to start. Oh well, no BWS deal for me

  • -2

Saw this right after it was posted and then of course forget about it this morning until now. Looks like I needn't waste my time.

FYI giving advance notice of a time just makes it worse

    • +12

Hey mate, yeah unfortunately it's hard for us to win here. When I post perks on the fly, people miss out if they aren't online or don't have their phone on them, and posting in advance has it's own drawbacks. I'll probably keep doing a combo so different types of users in the community can get amongst different deals, but as always I appreciate the feedback.
