  • Last time they had a deal this good they were close to expiry. Hopefully its good this time

    • Good thing i only ordered 5kg then, was going to order $10 kg initially

    • Ugh. Now that they've moved to local warehousing, their prices have gone up significantly AND they're shipping older stock (since probably have less turnover)?

      What a stupid idea.

  • MyProtein prices have nearly doubled in the past year, even when factoring in the 45% discount.

Generally after you do the math, Bulk Nutrients almost always works out cheaper

    • BN have increased in price as well from what i can tell. Find me an equivalent price from BN i will order 5g from them as well, love BN flavours

False, MyProtein WPI with this current deal is $25.71 after cashback per kg (if you buy 5kg), while BN is $39.2 per kg of WPI if you buy 5kg.
MP also has free shipping over $99 spend while BN doesn't offer free shipping.

Though if BN was the same price as MP, I'd 100% go with BN…

If you do understand the labelling ingredients, BN using amino acid to spike their protein.

So instead you buying protein from BN, You actually pay for amino acid (if you do more math, amino acid way cheaper than protein).

Seem like your math didn’t work at all here

      • could you elaborate on which amino acid? Because protein is made of amino acids so this comment isn't making sense without clarification

You scroll down to supplement facts, there are 18 amino acids listed there.
So if you put amino acid into test, amino acid also counts as protein.

          https://youtu.be/l2CTikKegok

This is the most common common protein spike with amino acids.
So not just their WPI, i do not like their BN pre workout either. Their pre workout is under dose, unless you are new lifter who never lift weights before.

          • @JJkx: I hadn't heard of this before so was interested and watched your video. In there he states if it is spiked, the amino acids are listed in the ingredient list, where it's definitely not stated like that on the BN website. So how can you be sure they do?

Do you then also believe Aminoz "spikes" their WPI as they also have 18 amino acids listed?

Could you give an example of a WPI that isn't "spiked"?

      • Bro, I'd be pretty upset if my protein contained no naturally occuring amino acids, IE the building blocks of protein…

        https://www.nature.com/scitable/topicpage/protein-structure-14122136/#:~:text=The%20building%20blocks%20of%20proteins,side%20chain%20(see%20below).

From BN product page - "naturally rich in amino acids"

You're misunderstanding what the video is saying, companies can artificially spike the natural amino acid content of whey protein with cheaper additional amino acids ALONGSIDE the whey protein so they actually use less overall.

      • after reading their nutrition facts, can you confirm that MP does not contain any amino acid profiles at all?

Some 5kg are already 1/2 price. Eg Choc mint and blueberry cheesecake

    • yeah milk-tea as well, they stack with the voucher so its 61, not sure about how they taste and how close to expiry they are.

      • +2

I got choc mint last week 1/2 price and it tastes good and expires 06/23

        • Ok thanks for that. i will buy $5k of that stuff now as well.
Edit. I guess i better buy another flavor to make it 10 kg for free shipping, any other good flavor recommendation that is on half price already?

          • +1

@FiDad: I got the Milk Tea before, I liked it.

            • @naplutetium: i ended up getting 10 kg of choc mint, even if i dont like the flavour that much i will ensure it at this price. Anyway 10 kg wont last me too long lol

              • @FiDad: How many servings are you meant to drink a day? It has 200 servings.

                • @geshc: 3 servings a day. So yes it lasts me around 3 months

                  • @FiDad: wow! what is your protein goal a day if you do not mind me asking

                    • +1

@Jono258: My daily goal at the moment is 160 g per day at the moment but since i am on strict cut at the moment, i need to take about 3 servings of protein to make sure my Macro are alligned. During bulk phase i generally only take 1 or 2 servings a day since i get lot more protein from normal food then. I do tend to eat a high fat diet most of time

                      • @FiDad: Thanks mate, good luck on the cut. I do not think my stomach could handle 3 a day

        • +1

Choc mint is my favourite flavour. I hate chocolate brownie. Chocolate smooth is okay.

    • Thanks, ordered milk tea and blueberry cheesecake.
10kg of protein for a bit over $100 after cashback!

  • Does anyone know what's the expiry date of these?

    • Normally quiet long time, how long do u need to finish 5kg? I only need 1 month

      • 5 KG in one month? I'm not that efficient

      • +1

@JJkx That is too much.. not good for your kidney to process so much protein

    • Last time I ordered 5KG it was quite low, only a few months remaining. I sent it back as I had some isolate in the same order and some protein at home from previous aminoz sale.

      • same here. I already have ON 4.5KG from the last deal. If these expire in a few months, I'd rather not bother getting it

        • But ping their CS and verify if the price is good.

    • +1

As FYI, I just received the 5kg blueberry cheesecake and expiry is July 2023 so plenty of time

      • I got 5g chochlate smooth with june 2023 expiry date too. Waiting on some mint choclate now which hopefully has 2023 expiry date as well

  • +2

    this is the whey…

  • What's the go-to, plant-based protein these days? One that has all the right Amino Acids so you don't need anything else.

    • I Mix Rice and Pea 50 50. Not sure if it completes the profile but then its better to get protein from different sources. I also have whey, so no issue with profiles.

  • Code has not expired as of now.

    • But cashback reduced to 7% now

  • +1

Always buy best supplements, this gave me diarrhea :s Wasted 5Kg of Impact Whey
