Finally we’ve got some reasonable priced budget pc. Looks good for 1080p gaming.

  • +11

I like that all parts used are clearly listed.

    • Thats still the best thing about BPC compare to other companies, good that they now got Auspost option !!!

      • Thanks bro :)

    • Happy to know you like this function!

Weird combo - could shave another $50-60 off this rig with a ryzen 5500…

    • I agree, why a 5600G when its got a dedicated GPU in the build :/

  • +1

Looks an excellent deal at that money for a lot of people such as I . Seems I recently made a very very poor expensive purchase on ebay compared to this . R well.

No wifi or BT seems weird.

    • They have a $39 wifi card option, but you can always buy your own.

    • +1

Not at all weird on a desktop PC.

      • -1

Right, because you'd not want your desktop to be on your home network, no sir. Nor would you want to cast music from it. What's really weird, though, is people down voting a statement of fact that it doesn't come with wifi or BT.

        • I didn’t down vote you, but it’s common, not weird, that these budget gaming PC builds have budget MOBO’s without Bluetooth and WiFi.

  • Are your Siren vortex PC's lower tier than kraken power? As in are the parts used of inferior quality?
You have a 3080ti build for $2699 which seems great but can't tell for most parts what's there.

    • +2

I don't think so. Check the specifications tab under that PC. Should all be listed there.

    • Hi maverickjohn,

We define Kraken as our high-end Gaming PC series, and we generally use premium level parts.

Siren stands as entry-level gaming series, and we are trying to bring more affordable options for gamers.

And yes, as comments mentioned below, you can check the parts info under the specification tab.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

I would’ve gone for a Ryzen 5500, deleted the HDD, and then chucked a 6600XT in there instead of the 3050 for better fps for your dollar but that’s just me

  • -1

Damn…looking up the parts individually and that GPU is pretty expensive on its own on other websites. Prices range from $680 to almost $900.

I'm eyeing out this one at the moment https://www.bpctech.com.au/product/kp-torquenano-krakenpower… Should I wait and hope prices drop more or just bit the bullet and buy one?

    • 6600xt is under $500, noone in their right mind should buy a 3050 for $680-900ish

Techfast had a 3080 PC build for $1888 recently, the one you linked doesn't seem like a value pick. Obviously you may really want that itx mobo/case but only you can decide if you want to pay that premium

      • Yeah I like that mini itx

    • You can get a 3060 for $599 @ BPC, don't know who would buy a 3050 for $100 - $300 more.

Would be good if the OP could clearly state that no Windows licence is included.

    • check out their option, it clearly stated that "Pre-install Windows?(No activiation key included)"

      • -3

I'm well aware of what the site states, but to have the original post contain a full and detailed parts list whilst omitting weather or not a Windows licence is included is omitting a fairly important detail in my opinion.

        • -1

Having a windows licence or not makes no difference to most people

        • -1

          Whether.

  • 'Leadtek' brand gpu, another Taiwanese GPU company, but good quality products?

    • +1

They've been around for ~ 20 years and were a leading brand in the early 2000's

  • Freight !!!?? Used TNT recently for near identical box from East to WA . 3 working days and believe sub $60 . Perfect service . Not affiliated with anyone .
