Edit: seems like only way to access the offer is through the notification which disappears once you click on it. Probably a good idea to have your Mastercard saved to Uber Eats before you open the notification so you can link it immediately and avoid disappointment if the notification pops up for you.

Edit 2: If you received the notification and it disappeared, contact support and ask for a direct link. Some ozbargainers managed to get a link and others not YMMV.

    I got the notification yesterday and missed it.
    Went into the app today and sent a help message about the offer. Once the message was sent, the offer re-appeared. Signed up in app just now.
    Nb, this was all done whilst on an active uber trip.

      Update, support got back to me and stated to use the promo code from my email. Like others have said, the code/promo was not emailed. Since the offer popped after the initial enquiry I just left a very sarcastic thumbs up

    So some of you have said they got charged an initial $9.99 is that the case or are there no charges applied and we just cancel it immediately after activation and still get the 6 months applied?

    I had the same problem with my card being expired and couldn't join. If you are eligible, there is a banner on the main home screen of the ubereats app.. you may need to swipe right for more offers. I joined through that.

    Accidentally closed the notification for this about 2 weeks ago and was tempted to send uber a message about it tomorrow, but just noticed I received the offer from them in my email yesterday with the same offer

    I got the email and the notification.
    But when I click through it, it says the offer has already been used. My app doesn't show that I an uber pass.
    Anyone else has the same issue.

    I did as an earlier post mentioned, removed all my other payment cards and updated my then expired MasterCard… Maybe a week ago? Got the notification from the app today again and was able to successfully get it. Thanks team.

    Got the notification from UberEats weeks ago but nothing happened when I tapped on it. Offer appeared just now in Uber app at the top (didn't get a notification) and successfully activated it.

    I am not subscribed to Uber marketing emails, nor I got any notifications. But I found the promotion in the app and got 6 months free successfully.

    Sorry for being noob. How does one send a message to support? In the help section of the uber eats app there seems to be forms for specific problems (not including this offer) with no generic contact form?

      I think you can cancel it straightaway and be able to keep using it for six months.

    Had issues getting this too - finally got things working:
    1. Removed all payment methods (except uber gift card credit) and added my Mastercard.
    2. Waited a few days and got an email from Mastercard (priceless)
    3. Signed up for Uber One, got charged by Uber.
    4. Reached out to Uber support (Help > My promo code didn't work) and explained that it's supposed to be free (send screenshot).
    5. Got refunded Uber credits, and was provided a link to get 6 months free Uber Pass courtesy of Mastercard.

      They should’ve refunded to original payment methods. Getting credits is a bit of a loss to me but I guess if you’re a regular Uber user then it’s just like cash.
