    leather seat

Which of the 7 seats do you want to be leather?

This was the best value I could find.

This was the worst value I could find.

    • Ideally all of them. Not ideal is to just buy leather seat cover, and put it to where kids are sitting.

      • So when you say leather are you talking plastic or legit leather 🐄?

Value is not strictly dollar amount, for example you could live inside the F650 then you're saving on a house. Also people will know you have a big pp

    • $400k for a Ford Pickup that can take the whole family?!
      Take my money!
TBH though i think it's the Ford Mondeo esque steering wheel and interior from the parts bin that make it.

Imagine having a $400k steaming American Chrome plated turd out the front of your house.

Give us some more info dude. Too open ended with what you started with.

How often do you want to use 7 seats? Do you need luggage space when using all seats? What’s your budget? New, demo, fairly new used or old as the hills? Brand preferences? People mover, suv, 2wd, AWD, 4wd, petrol, diesel, towing?

I’d say pick up a used tarago, carnival or Hyundai van (not sure what model they are)

    • Do you need luggage space when using all seats?

As if that's been considered 😂

    TBH
Kia Sorento or Hyundai Santa Fe.
I bought an Audi Q7, from experience only do so if you're a masochist and enjoy setting fire to money.
Same goes for a Mercedes or BMW.
The endless warning lights and bells will drive you bonkers.

Personally if brand new i'd go a Pallisade, if second hand a sorento.
If you're using the 3rd row often you'd go the Kia Carnival in a heart beat.

    KODIAQ perhaps?

  • Get a Model Y if you want "luxury"
EDIT: Didn't see UpDATE Why no luxury car? No LCT tax?

  • Not many non-luxury cars have leather seats

    • Depends how you define luxury vehicle. Seems OP might define according to the badge on the front not the level of equipment.

Plenty of non euro brands have leather or pleather that’s close enough.

OPs requests will push this into the LCT anyway…

hell can the chinese even deliver what he wants under LCT???

this place loves the impossible requests

  • I have exactly same requirement. Will Tiguan Allspace be any good?

Carnival has more than 9 months of wait.

New model for Palisade is coming in Oct and hence existing stock is very limited.

    • we have Tiguan Allspace and it's been very good. I think you'll be waiting over 6 months for one though

I have more than 25 years experience in the auto industry. Mitsibushi Outlander is easily one of the best value 7 seaters, and fits your criteria perfectly. See below example on FB Marketplace, and search list from Carsales.

  • What car you ended up buying? Exactly on the same situation.
