Very good price for these. Previous deal was $257. Lowest yet on Camels.

Down from $198, which was price matching Mobileciti special.

4/5 Review - Techradar called them great value at A$350 at the time, down from the steep RRP A$499.

As a value for money proposition, you can’t really do better than the FreeBuds Studios. While they cost £299 / AU$499 (about $400) at launch, they’re regularly discounted to around £220 / AU$350, putting them below the wireless headphones competition and making up for any shortcomings when it comes to app support and bass.

Note: No iOS app.

I have Huawei Freebuds pro and they are on the par of AirPods Pro (I own both). In the iOS app I can see the Huawei studio too btw

Hahahaha. Why not better than airpod pro? Lets demand apple must learn something from huawei

      • +6

If you say it's better it will be banned haha

@nataliaava: I think the AirPods sound slightly louder. Also the charging case is smaller. AirPods feel slightly better for my ears. But for the price huawei are better (I paid $105 for huawei and AirPods Pro were $199 when you could get free AirPods from apple education during promotion ).

Can anyone comment on quality of these? comparable to qc35 and xm4s? Ive got the freebuds pro and have been very happy with them

    • +3

I’m tempted to get these too. I have Freebuds pro and they are amazing for the price.

It boggles the mind how sheep can keep supporting these companies.

Do they connect to windows laptops without major issues? This can be tricky sometimes…

    • Also wondering

Considering the RRP of the Huawei phones were $400+ you'd think it would be a no brainer. I've bought one and will report back

I just checked on Taobao(Chinese version of AliExpress), this pair of headphone is selling at around 160 AUD. If the RRP is 499, then we are getting rip off for sure

Bought one, will be connecting to both the iphone and laptop for work phone calls and Teams.
Will report back on how it goes.

    • Does it have a mic, or you use your laptop mic?

      • it does have microphone of course, 3 each sides, total of 6.

Just a quick review as I got the headphone delivered mid day today.
Very comfortable on my head, as comfotable if not slightly better than my work colleague's Bose QC35 which I tried for a small amount of time.
Dual connection works well, I had it connected with my work windows laptop and then with work iphone. Played youtube on the laptop and then picked up a phone call on the phone with no issues.
Sound wise, not as clear as my Beyerdynamics DT880, but never expected it to be. I prefer neutral sound with nice treble and less bass, the Huawei seems to deliver that. May not suit if you are a bass head.
Anyway, I bought it for work. The dual connection is important for me, rest not so. Will continue to test more.

To get the full FreeBuds Studio experience, you need to download the companion app through Huawei’s AppGallery, which, if you don’t have a Huawei phone means another app ecosystem on your Android device.

    Well, thats annoying.

  • +1

I believe it will be cheaper as $175 is the normal price in its own market- China.

  • Will Xi hear what I hear??

  • Are these able to connect to the airplane sockets using an adaptor?

    • +2

No 3.5mm socket setup so no

      • In the product Information it says it has 3.5mm Jack. Is it not correct?

  • you need to download the companion app through Huawei’s AppGallery

Not many people prefer to side load the app

It arrived yesterday and I'm returning today.
Product came faulty and full of bugs.
    Auto pauses
    Commands don't work
Buzzing and bursting sound coming through left piece
    Simply unusable

    • My ebay ones arrived. I'm pretty happy with them. On par with my old 35s. The amazon order still hasn't arrived. They used CP for delivery so dam slow

      • I guess I was just unlucky =(

      • my amazon order just shipped too slow
