Based on the film starring Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Michelle Gellar this funny and nostalgia fuelled hit will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.

Featuring a smash hit soundtrack including Bittersweet Symphony (The Verve), Every You and Every Me (Placebo), Bye Bye Bye (*NSYNC), Sometimes (Britney Spears), Just A Girl (No Doubt), Foolish Games (Jewel), Genie In A Bottle (Christina Aguilera), Breakfast At Tiffany’s (Deep Blue Something), Kiss Me (Sixpence None the Richer), Iris (Goo Goo Dolls), Candy (Mandy Moore), I’ll Make Love To You (Boyz II Men) and more!

Drawing you deep into the manipulative world of Manhattan’s most tempting liaisons: Sebastian and Kathryn are seduced by revenge and fuelled by passion. • Great deal, wish it was in Sydney!

  • Cheers, just booked!

  • Is this ok for 10 and 14 year old daughter’s? Bearing in mind that they already come across a lot of inappropriate stuff on tictoc and internet!

I haven’t seen it yet - but have booked, almost included my kids but after reading this choose not to include them.
Warning: This is not a kid's show or for your conservative grandparents it has lots of simulated sex scenes and semi-nudity on stage. (https://www.weekendnotes.com/cruel-intentions-the-90s-musica…)
My kids are very open minded but get very skirmish with “simulated sex scenes”. Of course, you know what your kids like, can deal with, so totally your call. I’m sure there will be other younger ones there. I took my kids to see Muriel’s wedding (when they were a similar age to yours are now), and it was a little uncomfortable.

      • Thanks, was tempted, but think I might pass.

I agree. I have seen it (Thanks, Promotix). The play is mostly about sex. Not suitable for children. Very enjoyable for adults though.

  • thanks, just booked

A musical. Based on a movie. Based on a book.

    Where’s Gilbert and Sullivan?

Op, can you please provide a seat map? I have never been to one of these and wanted to know where I'll be seated if I do buy it.

    • +2

I'm sorry but we (Promotix) are a marketing company and release offers on behalf of event Producers to promote their shows. Unfortunately we do not have access to their seating maps, or information on where the seats are located. Generally speaking it depends on how full the venue is on the day of the show, and our tickets are more likely to be further towards the back so that patrons paying full price for tickets have access to the best seats. I hope that helps.

    • Username doesn't fit

  • Loved the movie. Hope the musical is just as good

  • To Promotix, So when we buy promotix ticket, when we exchange at the box office do we get a confirmed seat?
Would it be better or worse to come earlier to exchange from a seating perspective?

(Had to tick associated otherwise cannot post)

  • When tickets are collected at the box office they are for confirmed seats ie; they have the allocated seat number
For some of the Cruel Intentions sessions the official tickets are sent via email and also have the allocated seat number printed.
When you redeem tickets with Promotix our confirmation email / booking voucher contains details on whether your official entry tickets are a "box office collect" or will be sent via email.

    • Hi there Promotix- I joined your VIP membership when it was free last offer in March I think. However, my membership is telling me I have no vip membership. Any way you can check it for me?

  • Still haven’t been emailed the official entry tickets and the show is in 3hrs…

    • what happened!? Did you go??? How was it?

      • +1

Yeah they had the tickets ready for me at the theatre. It was pretty good, can’t complain for $6 a ticket! Just don’t bring your young kids to the show like some people in the audience did lol

        • cheers! for $6 i wont be too picky either!

  • Just came back from it. Partner loved it! I thought it was pretty good.

Nostalgia-fest, and really funny (bit offensive, in a satirical way)
