$3 bonus will be pending in your Cashrewards account upon activation (no confirmation email is sent). Bonus will approve within 7 days of gift card cashback approval. Ignore the bonus estimated approval date. Gift card cashback is usually approved within 3-5 days of purchase.

$3 Bonus Promo Terms - please read carefully - it will save a lot of questions:

  1. To be eligible for the $3 bonus, you must first activate the promotion, then purchase any gift card of $50 denomination (or higher) via the Gift Card Page on Cashrewards.
  2. After activation, gift card purchase must be made between 11am and 4pm AEST 09/06/2022. Bonus will decline if purchase is made after 4pm AEST.
  3. Activations are capped at 3000. Once activation limit is reached, you can still purchase until 4pm AEST (provided you first activated the bonus).
  4. Bonus is eligible on purchase of any gift card of $50 denomination (or higher) in a single transaction.
  5. Bonus will be added automatically to your Cashrewards account as pending upon activation of this offer. Bonus will be approved within 7 days of the associated qualifying purchase being approved, as per the terms of the store.
  6. Bonus is over and above the advertised cashback rate which still applies to the transaction.
  7. Gift card purchases through the Gift Card Page are available only via desktop or mobile browsers. They are not available via the Cashrewards App.
  8. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.

    A reminder of the process to unlink your card from True Rewards if you wish to do so:

    1. Go to payment for another gift card.
    2. Go to checkout - you'll see your card details just before hitting pay.
    3. Click the bin icon and it will be removed.

      Just a quick question. Since the whole process in within the realms of CashRewards (Activation & GCs), would following have any impact?

      I understand generally we should not have any plugins/VPNs/Brave but in this specific case it shouldn't matter, is that a correct assumption?

        Correct assumption. It's a generic set of tips I use in most of my posts. The activation is no concern at all, and the TR/CR widget should overcome any of the mentioned 3rd party plugins. Hope this helps :)

    Thanks TA, good deal. Sadly though, the main effect that this promotion has had on me is to notice how much worse the Cashrewards rates are, for gift cards, than Shopback. If you want repeat orders outside of these promotions TA, those rates have gotta be boosted.

      No, but I extracted the full list of the participating retailers on the $30 denomination on Saturday. The participating retailers on the $30 denomination will carry over to the $50 denomination. Please note some participating retailers may have been added or removed from this list in the meantime.

      There may be other retailers on the $50 denomination that are not on the $30 denomination (e.g. Harvey Norman, maybe?), but I don’t know for certain, because I bought a Coles gift card through this deal!

      Btw, Cashrewards have no idea about which participating retailers are on the Choice gift card, because the gift card is managed by True Rewards, not Cashrewards.

          I don’t think it’s all gift cards, but it’s nearly all gift cards.

          I remember once buying a $50 Choice gift card, but there was no option to swap to Coles, even though True Rewards had $50 Coles gift cards available via CR at the time.

      It depends on the merchant. A lot of them don't, but Amazon do (for those categories with cashback) for example.
