I always say no more packs - just buy singles but that rush when cracking packs is just unbeatable.

Its funny I somehow get the exact opposite reaction when cracking any packs or any gambling in general. I bought a booster box one and after opening the entire thing I just felt bad lmao. I guess I usually know exactly what singles I really want and if I dont crack them my brain isnt happy or opening ones I didnt want also makes me feel bad as now I need to try get rid of cards Ill never use etc lol

Helps my wallet though I guess as I just do singles these days or precon commander decks if the value is good and they have reprints I need.

I do love digging through the bulk rares etc in game stores for treasures though haha

All the cracked packs with useless junk in them I keep in a massive drawer , and everytime I need a reminder of the disappointment that will be inevitable from cracking packs once the high has worn off, I open the drawer.

        • Damn, that's heavy.

  • Alot of reviews saying the collector's booster was resealed, so i would be cautious.

It's like that for a lot of card games on Amazon. It's usually people trying to get a refund because they got bad pulls or not knowing packs can have imperfections and just saying it's resealed

      • I have seen unboxings from amazon where there does appear to be resealing and it's a problem that's hard to stop due to Amazon's warehousing procedures. It's possible those videos could be fake, but the volume of complaints makes me cautious. I will still buy one, but at this price I would usually snap up several but for Amazon being the seller.

Its because they used a different glue on this series of collector boosters, ive ordered a few of these in the past from amazon and they were fine

    • That doesn't really happen on Aus Amazon, it's just that the packs aren't sealed well due to poor wizards of the coast quality control (the english packs from Japan have little to no quality control issues). There was a problem with US Amazon stock of opened items being returned and then being sent to customers, but reports are wildly exaggerated and people just complain that it was resealed if they don't pull anything good.

    • Two of these arrived today for me. The collector boosters just have crap QA - the seals look scuffed as from the outside, but very similar to many images you can find online of boosters from Crimson Vow specifically.

The contents were as expected for a collector booster.

Plus, I feel like if someone were going to be digging through packs to reseal them and return, surely gift bundles are pretty far down on that priority list (Crimson Vow especially).

Always good to be wary though.

  • Defs a good deal if you want/need any cards from this set
