    Should find out the conditions for buying the 4 passes. If they don't have to be redeemed at the same time, then people can join up and buy together, reducing the cost of each annual pass to $75.

    I personally would need two, would anyone be interested in the other 2 if this could be organized in a legitimate way?

      From what i remember is, once you pay for them, you print out a temporary paper ticket and once inside the park you apply for the card.

        Ok, I am probably pushing the bounds of your memory, but do you get one temporary ticket that included all of the passes, or four individual ones?

    I bought the 4 passes for $300 recently. At the time of booking and paying for it over the net, you had to nominate the 4 people's names. They advised that they would need ID to collect the tickets from any of the 3 parks you went to firstly. At the first park they took your photo and gave you a VIP 3 park pass with your photo imbedded in it. I can't see how you guys can buy 4 and sell 2 to strangers. Based on my recent experience you can't do it.

      But a consortium of ozbargainers could buy them together, assuming they trusted each other enough to manage the payment etc.

    So I jumped in, invested the 30c on the phone call, and contacted MyFun (the folks who run the VIP pass).

    If you want to get together with four people, who are not necessarily going to be travelling together, and buy this, then all you need to do is have the names of the four people who will be on the passes ready to give them when you book. The names can not be changed afterwards. The purchaser is then emailed individualized temporary tickets that can be turned in for printed cards when you arrive at one of the parks - provided you bring photo ID and it matches the name on the temp ticket. The essential bit is that you do not have to all arrive together!

    Also, if you had a VIP ticket in the past, I was told you would qualify for the renewal rate - and this is strange because I had one TWO years ago and am apparently still eligible. That would make the yearly pass $67.50 pp.
