  • Looks like it was price error, and they fixed it now.

    • It doesn't seem to be a pricing error. It's $64 on my browser screen and also in the cart. Says it's on the EOFY sale.

    • Only for C&C in certain stores, or delivery.

  • JB wants $199 for this portable SSD. What a rip.

Huge bargain from Umart then at the moment.

You could try do price match at JB.

  • Price matched with JB but $71 as umart doesn't do click and collect in Victoria.

  • Looks like price error was fixed

    • Just going to put order in. Price has changed

      • I just checked right now through Opera GX browser and it's still showing at $64 on the page and in the cart. Are you looking at the right product?.

This is the web link to it.

        https://www.umart.com.au/product/seagate-500gb-firecuda-usb3…

        There's no price error.

If you have problems. Clear the browser cookies or try another web browser.

        • Worked going through incognito! Got one - Thanks OP!

          • @Anotherozbargainer: Yeah ok then it was your web browser playing games on you. It was probably web browser cookies acting up.

            • @hollykryten: Nah, price is only for post or pickup from certain stores (e.g. Tried Milton and Mansfield, but not working in West Ryde)

              • @ATangk: I see. That's a shame you can't do C&C at all stores to get the price.

        • Thx!!! Only can order for delivery, once u choose pick up, price changes. Ordered both

You need to select post, not C&C to have the $64. Select C&C the price is $139. Same for the Asus ROG Strix Flare RGB Mechanical Keyboard Pink/Red.

My mistake, just did more tests, some C&C locations you will have it for $64.

JB price match link if anyone wants to get it from JB instead. I didn't use it since no click and collect near my postcode.

Thats linked to you though. Needs your mobile number for auth.

Oh my bad! But if someone really wants to use it I'm more than happy to provide my number in the inbox.

        • PM me Pls

        • Can you pm me as well please 🙏 ty

        • Wouldn't mind it if you still think it would work! 🙏

        • pm

        • Sorry guys it was one time use. Someone has already used it.

    • Wait you can do JB price match online? Did you just have to call them? I've always gone in person often missing deals like this by the time I can get to the store.

      • +1

I did it over phone when there was still stock at umart

    • Could you Pm me also please. Thanks

    • Hi guys. @rainbowyen has already used it. Seems like it's one time use only. Sorry!

  • Can I use for PS5? Might fit 5 games 😂

  • Can you swap the current cable with Usb C & USB A connector one & use it on USB a ports

    • It comes with both cables

      • No it doesn't, it is USB 3.2 gen 2x2 so the drive would only include USB-C to USB-C cable capable of USB 3.2 gen 2x2. Starting with USB 3.2 gen 2x2, you have to use USB-C, because it is 2x2. USB-A and USB-B can only achieve x1 (so the max they can do is 2x1, so gen 2).

    • While you could use USB-C to USB-A cable, you will lose USB 3.2 gen 2x2 (20Gbps) speed doing so.

The fastest you can get with USB-C to USB-A is USB 3.2 gen 2 (10Gbps). However, you need to make sure you get the appropriate cable. That said, if your computer doesn't even have USB 3.2 gen 2 port, then you are probably only looking at USB 3.2 gen 1 speed.

Really want to get one of those to test as I do have USB 3.2 gen 2x2, but at this price, they will be OZB'ed before I have a chance to get one.

Ideally, you need an USB 3.2 gen 2x2 port to really benefit from this. At this price, people without USB 3.2 gen 2x2 would snatch these as well.

  • Tried using coles MC to checkout, failed, then out of stock for the keyboard…
