Todayt had a drained battery on a 4 yrs old Mazda 3, managed to Jump Start it, and it's running, but guess its time to change it.
What's the best place in Sydney to get e a good value for a car battery,

Last battery I bought was from BigW, saved quite a few bucks & still managed to get one with more CCA. :)
I have a 3.0l turbo diesel engine so I needed an expensive truck battery :( lucky the wife is a member of RACQ and gets an annual voucher book. There was a 20% off supercheap in there :D happy days!
I bought mine last year from a place in Woodville, Sydney. Saw them advertised on Ebay and went to their place to buy it. I bought a CCA 600 RC 95 battery for abiout $100 which was atleast $50 -$80 cheaper than anywhere else I could find for a battery that strong and comes with a 2 year warranty. A year on this battery is still pretty strong as I just came back from overseas after 16 days and the car started first go in this freezing weather.
You can get the not so powerful batteries for $70 but I reckon its worth getting a more powerful battery (higher CCA) as the extra power does no harm.
