Cannot be applied on deal of the day items…

        • What a shame. That 5% would have been a nice buffer for the recent AUD drop. Amended OP.

  • hey that looks quite nice actually…how do you think it would be for reading pdfs?

    • Much better than any other tablet of its price range.

    • pdfs aren't great on 7" devices, better on 9"-10" ones

  • The RRP is $95 in America, not bad if taking the shipping cost into consideration

310kg is fairly heavy for a tablet

Something must have gone wrong and the wrong IPS panel inserted..

  • The CPU is actually quite slow comparing to lets say the A10 on Ainol Novo 7 even it is a dual core.

haha i7 might confuse some customers

I do believe that is intentional.

Haha, darn, so it doesn't run on an actual Intel i7. Anyway, seen these kind of deals everywhere for about $100. Free shipping is good, but not really much of a deal.

  • good price but can you do this with them?

  • Does anyone know whether this supports Skype video calling?

    • Skype should run great on this platform, the tablet of course sports a front web camera - so I should imagine video calling will be there. Simply tethered using an android handset/HSDPA (3G) modem, it should tether over Wi-Fi/USB-for mobile apps.

More interesting, http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/24989-share-gps-data-from-ph… - should mean that even GPS is possible, as I know all my phones have long offered this function.

      • Hi, Thanks for the reply. However, I've read about driver issues with some of these cheap tablets, and incompatibilities with video calling on Skype. It's not clear to me why Skype in particular should fail, if ICS supports it, but I thought it best to get some concrete info on whether Skype has been verified to work on this model.

        • Skype is known to be buggy and incompatible with many Android devices. It's no easy feat to support such a plethora of different generic devices.

  • Anyone know if they ship with an Australian power adapter?

  • What does "i7-T" means? Telechip TCC8923,1.2GHz?
Why it is configuration different then HAIPAD i7? it is like something different than HAIPAD i7. And it looks different than actual HAIPAD i7 as well.
I preferred to confirm before purchase.

look at the Q&A for that tablet. The T version has lower specced CPU that i7.
