  • good find,really want a keyboard has back-light keys

    ps:the G105 keyboard worth 49 on logitechshop.com.au

so for me,less than 40 get a g9x (maybe it's the best gaming mouse ever?)

    • ive edited the post to include logitechshop's price

  • +3

where's bargaincrypt when you need him ):

    • +14

Can't wait to see what Logitechshop gonna offer! lol~Fight!!

Wait, actually i don't think LTS has the MW3 version….oh well, doesn't bother me…ready to click BUY when LTS offer a better deal..

      • LTS sells Australian stock (with official distributor's warranty) not parallel imported.

COTD says "Price in reference to the separate retail prices of the original Logitech G105 and Logitech G9X devices from www.logitech.com/en-au"… But if the product is parallel imported stock, why refer to Australian Logitech site for price comparison, should refer to county of origin's Logitech site, me think.

Generally, I love competition and hate price gauging by multinational consumer electronics companies but it don't help when local store dedicated to lowest possible price cannot compete. A dead Australian retailer employs no Australians.

      • so i guess logitech arent going to offer a similar bundle?

  • +4

Don't forget to use the offer code ILOVECATCH to take the price down by 5%.
    Delivered price becomes $82.76.

    • i think you can get 5% off if you use their iphone app as well. maybe they stack

      • +1

that is the code that they tell you to use when using the iPhone app…

    • +1

      Unfortunately that coupon has expired.

      • works fine for me using the app…

        • Expired for me too :(

  • This vs K800?

      • Odd, that page says the K800 has an LCD display.

      • Thanks deviant1. I think I'll keep waiting for a LTS deal that beats web prices for the K800. LTS had the K800 for $85 for a while there but I have seen better quite regularly from overseas. How bout it LTS??? :-)

  • nice, was just looking for a g9x mouse around the city and couldnt find one.

  • Bought one!

  • +1

its annoying COTD dont have an android app, seeing the coupon doesnt work on the site . got one anyway

    • +1

maybe try dolphin browser + iphone user agent?

  • +8

    COTD- yuck

    That is all.

    • +26

      Agreed!

      • +16

Disgrace to the name of bargain, is your website.

Advertise the hell out of that Wednesday sale and put up less than 5 items per hour. Waste people's time in order to get some facebook likes.

        Disgusting.

      • +1

QQQ, don't you wish you had Phoenix by your side and travel back in time to fix your website?

  • note!!!
    "12 month CatchoftheDay warranty"

    • +1

udyz the details are on COTD's site

  • +1

Warning: Both products are MW3 branded. (The G9x has an alternative rough texture cover that is blank.)

    • +1

Thats really the only reason I didn't buy it.
      Doesn't really matter…
But at the end of the day, its your money and it'll be around for a few years

  • +29

    Hi -

Try this coupon code for another $20 OFF (only this item)

    GGINFERNO

    Back to D3!

    QQQ

    • +3

Can I apply the code if I have already purchased it????

    • i know this is so noob, BUT WHERE DO I APPLY CODE?

    • thanks so much for that code QQQ!
what class u playing in D3?

    • I can't find where to enter the code?

  • considering Catchoftheday gave out a coupon, $66.75 is pretty good deal for both of them

    • Or even just the mouse at the price is good!

  • +2

im contemplating purchasing a set after that $20 OFF coupon. I dont like the MW3 branding though:\

  • Checked the COTD page help before asking here. Where do I insert the coupon code?

    • +2

You need to sign in, add the product to your cart and checkout before you can enter the coupon code. You enter it on the 'Payment Information' screen.

      • thanks. must be iphone only because ive gone to that page without success. not to worry appreciate the response

        • I didn't enter the coupon code using the iPhone app, I went through the website.

        • Doesnt work in FireFox, worked ok for me in IE.

  • I am really tempted to purchase this, now that there is an additional $20 off. I however also do not like the MW3 branding, and don't know how well the keyboard and mouse will work with Mac OS X.

  • From their help page..

"….simply enter the code in the “Gift Vouchers & Coupons” code section before you click the checkout icon.

The code requires to be entered exactly as advertised with capital letters and spaces.

The system is completely automated and if you have correctly entered a valid code you will see the offer added to your order in the final stages of checkout.

Please note that if a coupon is not added during the checkout process, we will be unable to add this to your order later."

Although I'm not seeing any 'code section' before the checkout page.

  • +1

    60 bucks poorer

  • The code section is after the checkout page…

  • Now i have G9x to go with the g19… The g105 i might just keep a as spare board.

    Thanks Ozbargain

  • damn it .. add a $20off coupon after ive alrdy ordered one .. typical

  • Indeed it is, and I have now used it thanks very much. Bloody Windows kept deciding it was unsafe. ended up saving the link to the code window then openening it separately.

Guys the MW3 versions of these products have never been 'officially' brought into Australia by Logitech. So please check with any local sellers for things like local compliance, country of origin, warranty/support etc.

    • prob the british ones or something

      • We received the following from a representative of COTD, seamus-catch,
"To clarify, the Logitech MW3 branded gaming bundle presently being advertised for sale by Catch was lawfully parallel imported from the USA.

The product meets all applicable Australian compliance requirements and is supported by a one year Catch warranty.

The $279.90 RRP comparison on the Catch website notes: "Price in reference to the separate retail prices of the original Logitech G105 and Logitech G9X devices from [Logitech Australia website] and was true and accurate as at the 25/5/2012."

  • Logitech,

So these were bought into Australia and you didn't decide to sell them 'officially'. Now we have a chance to buy them and you come here and warn us they may not be 'official'. So are they made by logitech or not? Come on. This is starting to smell Logitech.

    • They're different companies. Would you expect another Harvey Norman store to support something you bought from a different HN store? It sounds like COTD or someone else imported them from another country which is why they're responsible for the warranty.

Of course, you could probably return them for support to Logitech in whichever country they were bought from as well, but who wants to do that? Hence, it's the importer's responsibilty to support them.

    • They are obviously made by Logitech, but they were never sold in Australia.

      They are grey imports.

  • $67 delivered with the coupon is an excellent price.
Great mouse, I have mine for 2 years and it does better than most.

  • +1

BOUGHT! Too good to pass up. I'm planning on rubbing off the MW3 branding with nail polish remover or something.

    • With the G9X Mice the shells are interchangeable and it comes with two in total. You would only have to change the shell to a standard one and your set ;).

      • Too bad the extra shell also has the MW3 branding on it…

        • You can pick them up brand new on ebay for $12. Still not a bad price all up.

  • Is the G9x a decent mouse for gaming?

  • The only thing I don't like about this mouse is the scroll button. I think it's too stiff and really hard when I used it in battlefield for the knifing.

    • +2

I use the F key and I have 1170 knife kills

  • Anyone figured out how you can reclaim that $20 coupon if you've already bought it?

  • +1

Too good of an offer to pass up! Was getting tired of replacing batteries for my wireless set up.

  • Can a COTD rep confirm that the keyboard is exactly the one pictured? The Left Shift in this video is smaller than usual to make room for the back-slash key.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jH9dVlLzZhk

Thats the one being shown in the COTD picture

      • I know, just want to make sure the one in the picture is what I'm getting.

    • +1

What the heck is that backslash for?

      • No clue, the Enter button is redundantly enlarged while the left shift is stupidly reduced.
Why does someone need such a fatass Enter key?

        • I remember a time when most keyboards had fatass enterkeys like that…

And it looks like they've shifted the backslash key next to the left shift instead of next to ]…
What that allows other than a small shift and a stupid enter key i have no idea…

    • +1

that's a UK keyboard layout, we use the US version in Australia

      • Ah cheers.
Can't believe I went to the UK and completely missed that… -slapshead-

  • if you've bought this and are worried about the MW3 logo on the mouse, have a look at this.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Replaceable-Shell-Logitech-G9…

i've bought one and am ready for my COTD to come!

i'll also be selling the keyboard if anybody is looking for just the keyboard alone

  • Selling the Keyboard for $35, Melbourne area.

  • I am after the keyboard as well, am in sydney.

    • sent you a pm/ just put your email in there:)

  • Try to apply the code but 'Redeem Code' button after I put in my credit card details, took me back to the payment screen without a field for the code to be added.

Love to purchase one but only if the code thing is fixed.
    Cheers

    • Which browser did you use? I found out Chrome doesn't display the coupon field. try other browser. It should be in "Payment Information" where you put your payment details in.

      • Chrome displayed it fine for me.

    • Correction; logged out, logged back in there it is.
Thanks Catch of the Day $66.75 is a fair price; I wish retailers would see this….

    • you need to add/pay payment first, and then before confirm the payment, it will show you the coupon code box

  • Can anyone please confirm whether an extra 5% off is still available by using the COTD iPhone App?
If so, will the 5% off stack with the GGINFERNO coupon code?

    • the iphone app allows you to only use one coupon code.
even if it worked, its only 3.34 bucks less. not a big loss.

      • thanks, didn't realise a coupon code was required

        • its "ilovecatch' without quotations. only works on the app

  • can't seemed to buy the item? Kept getting "W2 cannot to connect to switch" error when trying to confirm order…

    • same for me.

edit: finally went through! keep trying!
