Thanks OP, just bought the entire pallet.

    • +22

With no xboxes ontop of course.

    • After taking off all the Xbox’s right? Right!?

      • +1

        That is correct.

    • +4

Dammit was after that pallet to put all my xboxes I have at home

    • Did you buy the empty pallet or the Xbox included?

    • It's limited to 1 per customer

  • +1

Price in title please, also please change from Xbox X to Xbox Series X 1TB

    • Isn't every XSX have TB storage?

      • +1

        Doesn’t*

        • +1

I was going to say "Isn't every XSX 1TB?" but thought that wouldn't be clear.

      • Yes, right now 1tb is the only size. But fair to say there’s likely people who don’t know that and for the sake of 3 extra characters in the title may as well be clear

        • +8

I dunno, kinda implies that there might be a 0.5TB or 2TB option which confuses things.

Better to just wait and buy it at eb games with discounted gift cards

    • +1

Better to go JB, cheaper TCN cards when they go on sale. I got some at 15% off and bought a PS5.

    • Better to wait for Xbox series x pro and then pickup this model.

      • +15

Better to just wait for next gen and buy this heavily discounted.

        • +18

Better to wait for this to age, become a collectors item and pay twice the amount for it in about 30 years.

          • +1

@MaxHashrate: Is that you Broden? 😂

          • +4

@MaxHashrate: wow congrats bro that's so cool

          • +1

@MaxHashrate: Amazing, and where do you sell them ? Whats your go to price to buy both and selling price ?
15k off 50 means $300 on each ? Seems unrealistic.

            • -5

@ChipsChicky: Mixture of fb, gumtree and ebay. Its over 50. Depending on situation, if lockdown easily 1000-1200. Nowadays I don't really do it as aggressively.

I utilized gift cards to maximize my profit. Pre-order with jbhifi, eb games etc. Multiple stores.

I frequently bought those woolies 20x rewards on ultimate teens and had tons of everyday rewards. Whenever BigW had stock I would just pay the ps5 with my rewards points and even profit. I accumulated so much points on my Amex platinum edge which gave 3x points at Coles and woolies.

Won't last forever but was easy money. U should have seen my graphic card flipping. I purchased over 20 techfast rtx 3080, mined some of them for 3 months and sold them to miners for 500 profit each gpu. I can show u my gpu haul if u like lol. I posted on ozbargain before.

              • @MaxHashrate: lolz, great man, thats really smart. Yeah sure, share the mining thing, how much you made by mining and are you still doing it or sold all the mining items ?
Xbox is easy to sell and has more margin or PS5 ?

                • +1

@ChipsChicky: Mined about 5k, I sold the gpus at the peak but I still have two 3090s for gaming and one for heating the living room. It was quite a fun project but my wife wasn't too happy about the noise so she made me sell most of it which in hindsight was a blessing given how gpu prices have gone.

Nah I wouldn't touch xbox atm. I haven't bought a single Xbox for over 3 months now once I saw more EB stock pop up. You can tell roughly when supply is picking up when it takes longer to go out of STOCK. Even ps5 is heading there soon.

The only way I would go about it is if u could get 10% jbhifi gift cards and sell them at RRP and make $75 a pop. Many ppl would even thank u for selling it at RRP even though u profiting.

  • +11

But. MS $675 using shopback gift cards! They restock regularly enough these days

    • +2

And deliver quickly to your door, and do not require annual membership fee

    • hi how did you purchase shobback giftcards

      • +2

Shopback app. Get the right one or you'll have $750 of the wrong card

        • thank you what is the right one? can you please help this dumb ass :(

          • +1

@dirtyhen: Click them. At least one says it can be used for hardware.

          • +1

@dirtyhen: The green XBox Gift Card is the one to use. 10% Cashback when purchased via ShopBack app. Redeemable for hardware.

By combining with an American Express $100 off $500 purchase at Microsoft offer (not current, but they come around every 3-6 months) the net cost will come in around $625 delivered from Microsoft online.

    • How often? I noticed there was some towards the end of June from past posts. I decided I want to get one this week, and have been watching the Microsoft store most of the week, but nothing so far. If I still had a Costco membership I'd jump on this, but I moved and now don't have one close enough to bother going or keeping my membership active - used to be 15 min from Casula, now nearest is 1.5h away.

      • Generally monthly, near the start of the month. Though, this has been increasing lately.

        • Thanks! Weird to me that Costco gets 10+ pallets, and Microsoft - the people who make it - don’t have stock, but I guess that’s how contracts/shipping/logistics work sometimes!

  • +1

    Also available at Ringwood Vic.

    • 2 pallets with 60 consoles per pallet.

  • Anyone seen if these are available at Canberra?

    • +1

Yeah, they had a full pallet about an hour ago.

  • saw a full pallet at Casula and Marsden Park too.

Seems that the offer already met demand.

  • +3

It's also available on the Costco app and same price which includes delivery!!

  • Time to stock up for the apocalypse

  • +4

    Full pallet at Costco Casula.

Oak just told me there's some at Pallet Town.

    • +1

Was that an awful Pokemon joke?

      • +10

Of course not. Just letting people know where to buy them.

Don't buy them all but, you'll go Brock.

  • +1

Where can I get a pallet jack cheap?

  • I'm new to gaming. Is it better to buy an X-box or PS5? I bought a Switch recently. Do I need all the consoles?

    • +7

Short answer to your question. No.
Long answer : No, one is enough

Longest answer: Paste what you typed in google and click search. Watch the videos.

Honestly it's preference between Xbox and Playstation. Specwise Xbox is arguably better but realistically unless you pick everything apart you aren't going to notice a difference unless maybe you go all out on high end TV and Soundbar and all that jazz. Playstation has more exclusive games while Xbox game pass will probably have enough games you won't need to buy any (Playstation has just released their own version of game pass but currently gamepass is a lot better). Big perk for Playstation to me anyway is you can play free to play games without needing an online subscription which with so many good free to play games is a big plus. I personally went with a playstation because I hated the interface of the previous xbox and always preferred the Playstation controller layout.

      • But this month, PS+ Extra look cheaper and better than gamepass (the game being added looks better, unless you are Pappa pig fan ^_^)

But generally, gamepass was better almost all the time than PS+ extra, but I end up getting it on PC, as some gamepass game only in PC, and just bought gaming pc last month (yes the price of PC twice XSX, but I can claim it on tax and can use for work and for watching certain hub website too ^_^)

So I feel PC Gaming, PS5, and Switch is enough for me

        • +1

PS+ Extra is just getting started, so it makes sense that the new additions are stronger on that.

In terms of PS Extra+ being cheaper, I disagree as Microsoft provides multiple ways to get Game Pass quite cheap or even free if you are willing to jump through hoops.

I think a lot of the value is that all first party titles will be released Day One on game pass… which is incredible value.

I won’t have a strong opinion on PS Extra+ as that service is very new, but the value in Game Pass is undeniable.

          • -1

@guidedlight: That why I said this month (July) only, but generally gamepass is better most of the time. It kind of bad this month gamepass. Also do agree with you Game Pass is good value, but even better value in PC, as most months, there always a PC only games on game pass. Only sometimes the console only, and if you have good speed, you can use cloud streaming, so no need for Xbox Console.

      • Game Pass has a cloud gaming option. So in theory you could get a PS5 for exclusives and third party titles, and use Xbox Cloud Gaming without needing an Xbox console.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is amazing. It’s not 4K, or a complete replacement for physical hardware but it’s very close.

        • Agree. especially on PC, as almost every month, game pass adding pc only games, like this month, July 2022, Last Call BBS and Overwhelm is PC only, not in xbox console.

      • +1

Big perk for Playstation to me anyway is you can play free to play games without needing an online subscription

FWIW, Xbox has been the same since April 2021.

        • Interesting, didn't know they changed it.

      • -1

Big perk for Playstation to me anyway is you can play free to play games without needing an online subscription which with so many good free to play games is a big plus

You can do this on Xbox to.

        Playstation has more exclusive games

Not sure what you mean about this, but Xbox does now own more studios than Playstation so even if that was true it wouldn't be for much longer especially after they finish their purchase of Activision Blizzard, they also now own Bethesda too.

        Both consoles are good buys.

        • +1

So I heard but that is fairly recent they had free to play. Sony has been doing it for years.
Just because they bought studios doesn't mean they will all be exclusive to Microsoft. Sony has had more exclusives for years now while Microsoft focused on game pass.
They both have their perks, like I said initially it's all preference.

    • +1

Depends on what kind of games you want to play, some games are console exclusives.

    • +3

Between the two, if you're new to gaming and aren't sure which games you'll want to play, Xbox with a Game Pass sub would be the way to go. PS5 does have some nice exclusive titles but if you're not interested in those there's not much point imho. But you'll probably get plenty of opinions both ways.

      • +2

If you new to gaming, actually PS5 with PS+ extra is better, as it is cheaper, and you get a lot of PS exclusive that you probably miss out because you are new to gaming.

But if you been PS gamer for long time, PS+ extra is not good, as most games there, you probably already owned it, or played it >_<

        • That's the problem I have. So many of the games on extra I already have from plus over the years and I find myself playing the same games online and don't even play the ones I was excited to see getting added. Damn Rocket League.

    • +3

Life is too short to not own them all if gaming is one of your top hobbies. Some people spend thousands just on rims for their car, or on first class holiday tickets. $2,000 for all the consoles isn't so bad compared to some other hobbies.

      • +2

Yeah if people sit on their ass and play game all day. Most that can afford them also has families commitments. 1 console is enough for me. Do your research and pick 1.

        • Some days I do. Its the best. I'm so happy I didnt have kids

  • Also available at Moorabbin (whole pallet load)

    • +1

What's even weirder is they haven't put empty boxes out on display, it's the actual units because they have too many to store them in the secure area with the other high value items.

Cashier was very confused when I bought one yesterday…

  • +2

Nice need a membership to buy so scalpers cant abuse it.

    • +1

Scalpers can also buy a membership and still make a profit from 2 consoles (you and your partner can have 1 card each, both different card numbers) !

      • Is there anything stopping you having multiple memberships to Costo? never been there.

        • Dont think anyone tried before but nothing stopping you from using some fake name and address to set up multiple accounts.

          • @KaTst3R: wasnt sure if they needed/wanted ID thats all

            • @pharkurnell: I dont remember if I used my ID to sign up (i had my membership for quite a few years now) but I remember filling up a form on an Ipad i think.

              • @KaTst3R: Doesnt matter, not cashed up.. just paid rego/insurance :'(

  • +1

Welcome to the next generation everyone!

Don’t forget to grab a cheap game pass subscription.

  • +1

Look at them in the wild.

  • +1

Why is there still shortage of PS5 and xbox? Is AMD still printing server CPUs on those wafers?

    • Because everything is taking up chips and there is a shortage of almost everything with a chip, we couldn't even get a dishwasher we wanted for 2 months because of the chip shortage. The reason why the Xbox Series S is in stock most of the time is because they can make like 2 or 3 of those consoles to the 1 Xbox Series X.

      • Most consumer devices and cars dont need high end 7nm chips. They are usually manufactured in a less denser nodes(unlike the Ryzen needed for tesla). Also AMD would have a contract with TSMC for a certain number of wafers. Now that GPU demand is lesser, I thought they would be allocating some of those wafers to xbox/ps5. Maybe they are prioritising server chips on those is my doubt as there is a much greater profit and demand for AMD EPYC chips right now.

  • +1

    Plenty in Ringwood.

  • +1

    Still plenty at Marsden Pk.

  • Really? No one has mentioned how you can supposedly flip these for double on marketplace or eBay yet? That's weird.

    • +6

      Because you can’t.

  • A whole pallet stack still available at Perth WA store.

  • Can't help but notice the logitech steering wheel in the picture. That's a good deal right???

  • Looks oos online?
Also I ordered online a couple of days ago and still “processing” - any one else?

    • I got mine one just came this morning. I ordered it on Sunday so took 4 days.

      • Thanks yes once it shipped - it arrived overnight! Got yesterday ordered Sunday too
