Weekend Away in Sydney & Accommodation with a Cot

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well,

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a weekend away in Sydney but accommodation with a cot for my bub?

I'm struggling to find accommodation with a cot.

Get a porta-cot - often available cheap or free second hand - and then you can stay anywhere.

Yep, as afoveht states above, you need a porta-cot or travel cot. I've stayed places before that have said they have a cot available and they've been never been in good condition. Also you can use it at home to get bub used to the different sleeping environment.

We got a Baby Bjorn Travel Cot second hand on Gumtree for around $200.

Beware that lots of the ones available are not as safe as they should be, according to Choice anyway… Choice

How old is the bub?

Portacot is a good option. Otherwise mattress on the floor with cushions/pillows/blankets around will work in a pinch.
