Adidas, Why Oh Why. Sadly Customer Service Has Gone From Bad to Worse, or Non Existent

Don't know if it's just me… But i've seen an ever-increasing demise in what was already, very bad customer service from Adidas AU Online, to completely hopeless!

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Orders cancelled. Advised of 'no stock', yet at time of ordering stock was valid, and still remains as available on the website days later.

Order incorrectly addressed and AusPost are returning to sender. Adidas advising that the returned shipment has been received and will be resent in the next week - 3 weeks later, still nothing and 3 follow-ups with the same "end of the week, this has been escalated…" response.

Online chat function dropping the chat. Not after the 120seconds, but within 10-20 sec of the agents reply.

The phone team are not helpful.

Even calling the HO number for retail store supply (yes, I have those details… sssshhhhh….) ends up with voicemail still talking about no staff due to COVID19. Thats so, '19'20 and 2021!

Spend way to much money each year with these guys… love the brand (muppet, yes… blah blah… I know)… But this is crazy.

I've also seen other online stores that use AusPost services going backwards yet again over the past couple of weeks. Crazy times, here we come all over again!

Maybe I'm just a whinging old b@57@rd, and have expectations that are far too high, i don't know!?!

Thoughts/experiences for others?

  • I've ordered stock and 1.5 weeks later they refund because of no stock only to check days later and it's back in stock, I have managed to message them to generate a unique code and grab what I wanted, but obviously miss out on the new cashback (mine did actually track and pay lol) they're idiots but I now have very low expectations when I use them. Ive heard of horror stories about customers receiving the wrong orders and being stuck with them or having to return and wait up to a month

    Just dont buy adidas whats good about it.. all bogans wear it on the street and you want to join…

      Cos half of me wants it… And the other half says, it's only fitting that I wear it (stereotype).

      Country… Half Leb.. = Adidas… Yep, I'm screwed!

    IMO then, Adidas seems to be just following the trend, "let's save on expenditure, these pesky support staff and support itself contribute nothing to the bottom line, ditch it all."

    Lack of support and hiding (or eliminating) customer contact avenues is the new blight.

  • There really is a staff shortage and if they don't pay above market rates people won't want to be working there.

  • I had the same thing a couple of months ago, I got hold of them on Facebook. Was the only way I could have my order re-shipped. Was around a month all up from when they posted the first order with the wrong address.
