Game of the year edition for $15.59 is a great deal as it gets you all content ready for the next gen patch, whenever that drops..
ya better to wait for the GOTY edition. the add-ons would complete the game.

Worked for me when my 7 year old son bought a game on my account (don't ask what it was or how much it cost) from the PSN store. As long as it hasn't been downloaded, contact Playstation support from their website and they should refund your credit.
Had something similar happen to me and the PSN store was cool with organizing a refund too.
In my case I had connected a PS controller to my PC via USB and unbeknownst to me it was still controlling my PS4 via bluetooth in the next room.
(Didn't even know this could be a thing).
Fortunately I had only purchased one item too and refund was organized in about 24 hrs.
Get the goty edition
Would strongly suggest getting the GOTY , because once you finish the Game, you will go get the DLC's and thats where they hit you (still worth it)

never gets old for meare you just doing the quest line or checking things out, seening whats around, sit with the strumpets ?

No way, explore , so much to find that isnt part of any quest
I did EVERYTHING, left no quest undone or ? left on the map, I think that's why I always got burned out.
Gwent can only keep me going for so long
This is why I'm questioning if I should bother with the GOTY if both are getting the upgrade.
Get GOTY instead, also keep in mind saves do not transfer across between the two versions
Gameplay was always janky but there's a bunch of great stories (especially from side quests) in this journey.
Really interesting lore and world and still some pretty good graphics (that will only get better with the free PS5 update later on).
Was gonna buy it - and then checked my library and I own it! (inb4 cool story bro)

yeah thats not the game of the year edition I don't think if your going to get this game get the "game of the year edition" it comes with all the DLC's
