    Hate to sound like a boomer, but do people still play Pokemon Go? Or has it evolved into a better game these days? Don't really notice people walking around trying to catch Pokemon these days. Although the other reason for that is I don't go outside as often these days. Too many bargains to shop online for.

      The game averages about $US 1B in revenue every year so that's a very big Yes!

      No, at least I don't think so.
      I still do all those things and have time to play on top of other games and hobbies.
      if you have no interest, you have no interest. that's pretty much it.

      for this deal, its good for some, but really mediocre for me, since i can pick up all of those (especially the pokeballs) within 5 mins of walking, which i do anyway as part of my daily exercise. the rest is easily from gifts from friends. inversely, i have trouble finding time to use the balls for catching… so i have > 1k ultraballs.

      Definately a case of Covid made people congregate less. They introduced a lot of remote features so people would still spend in game money play without crowds. They are starting to push back towards meetups.
