Have not used this model but it is significantly cheaper than any other 12V model i've seen. Good for camping but also works off 240v

If you vacuum seal it, will the spice still flow?

  • Isn't this considered a kitchen appliance? Why a 12v vacuum sealer? Do people take these camping??

    • why not?
The extra life this gives leftovers is probably even more important when camping if refrigeration isnt great.

go camping, catch a fish, vacuum seal and eat it later - preserve the freshness instead of it swimming in an ice slurry for 2 days wrapped in a wet plastic bag

I've been looking at buying a 12v vac sealer for in my campervan, I spend up to 5 months on the road some winters, I stock up on meat at Coles/Woolies every couple of weeks generally (sometimes up to a month depending on where I am)… Meat lasts a lot longer in the fridge/freezer when vac sealed… Recent years I've just been using a little 12v vac pump with a tube on it to suck the air out of snap-loc bags (due to how expensive 12v vac sealers are), it works but not as good as a proper vac-sealer…
