Good one but shopback/CR may not be valid since you are using a custom voucher

    • +1

mine got tracked and got confirmation email from shopback. but not sure if that would be credited or not. finger corssed.

      • +1

Hello, are you sure we can stack the 30% discount voucher along with the Samsung promotion cashback offer ?

        • +1

yes, mate, as i posted the link in one of the screenshot below, they mentioned it in their email to me. so i can use it as evidence if they decline my offer. Fair trading always rocks :)

  • Tried, no luck.

  • +3

Just tried to give it a go over the phone, mentioned that I wanted to upgrade from an older Samsung TV but they are all out of 30% vouchers and offered me a 15% voucher instead. They put me on a waiting list if any more 30% vouchers get given out. Fingers crossed

The QN85B has IPS panel compared to the QN90/95B that has VA panel that's the main difference if I am correct? Also as a TV do we prefer IPS over VA like PC monitors?

    • VA panels have come a long way since.

I know IPS provides better colour accuracy but VA gives better contrast.

      • +2

I have 75" Samsung QLED with an excellent VA panel. The contrast is amazing but I still prefer the colours and amazing viewing angles of my 5 years old LG TV. Each to their own but for me viewing angles, especially for such a big TV plays a huge role. Nothing is frustrating than looking at the TV slightly off from direct front to realise all that good contrast, colours etc are all slowly fades away.. Like I said, these newer QLED VA panels are amazing compared to older generations where you see horribly washed out images from sides, but still it's there..

    • IPS for monitors (viewing angle), VA for TV (contrast).

  • +1

Does this come bundled with ads?

  • Would love a 30% discount voucher if any available. Thx

  • Since this is OzBargain, just a reminder that above 60", projectors are better bang for your buck than TVs.

In some cases a TV is still better, for example of you watch all your tv in daylight hours, in a room with no blinds.

But nowadays laser UST projectors in this price range provide a bigger image with fantastic brightness/colour/contrast, and no installation required.

    • +1

      Any recommendations?

    • @GandalfTheCheap Recommendations for your suggestion of above 60" projectors please

    • I was eyeing on the Samsung UST projector but when you add the projector screen and misc - it gets really expensive.

      • A screen definitely makes the image quality slightly better.

But if you have a white-ish wall, it's optional.

I don't use one in my current house. I like just having a blank wall when it's off, rather than a massive screen (or TV) that tends to dominate the room.

    • +3

A good quality retractable screen to match a short throw projector is also a significant investment. Retractable because you can still keep your old TV behind the screen for watching stuff that doesn't need a big screen and for day time viewing.

    • Dumb question but where do i plug the projector in? Most home living rooms are designed with outlets for TV positioning in mind and i don’t want metres of extension cable everywhere.

      • +1

        get a short throw projector

If anyone has a spare voucher, could you please PM me?

sounds like bullshit to me… Samsung can't even deliver half their online inventory, their call centres, suppliers/couriers and anyone else affiliated with the same incompetent mob have no idea what the (profanity) they're doing. hard to believe they'd be calling "loyal customers" to give away more stock they can't physically put into their customers hands at mega discounted prices to only increase the ongoing shit fight they're allegedly trying to solve for.

so you then get this amazing out of the blue phone call…. you then get this mysterious code that lets you stack coupon upon coupon, cash rewards and sign on bonuses… (profanity), what a gift…

    • +3

Pretty much casting a negative vote because of this very reason. Their online channel has a poor history of being unable to fulfil anything larger than a smartphone, and will tie up your funds while they promise to re deliver multiple times, until you decide to ask for a cancellation refund (which requires another 30 days from that point to actually receive your funds back)

      • Agree with these comments 100%, got a call in March to say i was a preferred customer, ordered a new washer and dryer ($2800 worth) early March, only got my refund in mid July after them not sending the products and then holding my refund up for 45 days. Buyer Beware! Went through ACCC, NSW FT, the works…. they are hopeless with online store.

    • +1

I received the same call the other day as well. No issue getting a code.

  • If someone have any code and he don’t want to use pls share with me Thnks

  • +3

Has anyone other than OP actually got the 30% off discount code? If not this isn't really even a targeted deal.

  • if anyone knows of any deals with Samsung Frame TVs (65" or 75"?), that would be great

  • Does it work for the 65inch qn85b?

  • +1

Like most here, I would be grateful if anyone could PM me their 30% code if they're not using it! This deal sounds almost too good to be true

  • Thanks OP. How did you claim the reward points (25k)?

  • +1

Got the call from Samsung yesterday

Damn, only call I got yesterday was a scam call saying my internet doesn't work :/

  • +7

I heard it takes months for Samsung to deliver, I wouldn't go anywhere near this deal

    • +1

YMMV but I bought a q70b from Samsung on 18/06 and it got delivered on 07/07. Was meant to come on the 30/06 but they notified me it would be delayed due to no stock in VIC. Not the fastest delivery but not as bad as what everyone was saying on here.

  • +9

You would have to be crazy to order off the Samsung website unless you want to wait months and months and next to zero customer service If you need to call up. this deal has multiple people unable to get a 30% off as they have run out of stock. negging because its pretty much unobtainable

  • +1

    Samsung, if you're listening… people aren't happy.

  • Those asking for the code should try the Classifieds section

  • This is such an insane deal for those who were able to get it, well done to you all.

    • I think it was only op..

      • +1

It could be mate that it's only me. The whole purpose of my post so that others know that this kind of deal exists. and if you are looking for something like that you can try your luck. If you dont' get the same deal its your fate absolutely. :) Peace!

You can't claim the TV + soundbar promotion if you are using the 30% discount voucher. Your invoice will have "Your discount has been applied Promotion was applied to your order total" and Samsung will deny the cashback.

Also you can't use the $50 newsletter voucher if you've applied the 30% coupon as well.

    • +1

Good one. not sure what is source of your information. but i do have an official email from samsung that cashback is still eligible with 30% discount. so if forwhaverver reaosn my claim doesnt go through, i'm ready to take it on.
      for your kind reference. Peace!

      Samsung Email

      • +1

My source is the T&C of the cashback program, for which is also stated in your screen cap saying T&C applies which says:

"This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer."

        • gotcha, let's see, how it goes for me.

Went to HN the other day and got the following:

    • Samsung 65QN95B (RRP $4299) price matched with Samsung store loyalty voucher (further 15% off - could've used edu or gov email as well as my fiancée has both) = $2974

    • Samsung QN990B (RRP $2099) priced matched with appliances online (with delivery to WA, cheaper/free if east coast) = $1400

    • $500 Cashback for purchasing both TV and soundbar in same transaction

    • $400 HN gift card as paying $4000 with Latitude Go Mastercard

    • Free delivery (usually $79)

    Total cost: $4374
    Less cashback: $3874

Used $100 of the gift vouchers to get a slim fit wall bracket (usually $129) and have $300 left (probably for a new coffee machine as the mrs is sick of nespresso smh)

    • $500 + $400 doesn’t equal $3874?

      • Not sure where you get those numbers from? Soundbar was $1400 + TV was $2974 = $4374

Once I receive the $500 cashback I will have spent $3874 and got $400 in gift cards

        • Shot. Price after cash back 👍

        • Latitude go master card has $8.95 monthly fee for interest free finance. So you will be paying $8.95×60 months = $537 which is $137 extra for $400 giftcard you recieved upfront.

    • How did you get 2974 price for qn95b?

      • It was on special for $3499 (RRP $4299), had a loyalty code for 15% off which made it $2974.15 which Harvey Norman price matched

  • Hi All,

Called Samsung Australia today and received below voucher codes:

    30% loyalty Voucher code for 2022 & 2021 Neo QLED TV's models
    15% loyalty voucher code for 2022 & 2021 QLED TV's models
15% loyalty voucher code for 2022 & 2021 soundbar models
$50 signup voucher (yet to receive)

Also, upon purchase of TV & soundbar, depending on the model I will be able to get TV and soundbar promotion cashback on top of this. Confirmed with Agent many times.
