Found this on Delonghi AU website. Doesn’t get as much attention as the Dedica EC685 but this one has a boiler instead of a thermal block and RRP is only half of the Dedica. Has anyone owned it and how good is it compared to other similar priced entry level manual coffee machines?

I am new to the world of coffee machine too and based on a comparison I read dual boiler > thermalblock > single boiler when it comes to temperature control. But damn this thing is only $149.
Yeah hard to say no to that price! Especially when it is ever on sale!
I didn't know the difference before, but you made me curious enough to read about it. Single boilers aren't as good as thermoblocks right? Long time to heat up, using the steamer function reduces the temperature of espresso? That is based on all of 5 minutes of research though.
