wow $16 for a small cup delivered you have to be kidding right?? oh that is right I can get a whole 24% off so where is the bargain??

    • 24% off is generally considered a bargain, unless the same the item can be found elsewhere for a cheaper price. As these are bespoke cups made by this company, I think there is little chance of that. I have bought similar re-usable coffee cups in the past (I am looking at two on my work desk now) and one of them was ~ $15 (not including delivery as I bought them in a regular shop), so in my opinion this is a bargain.

    • There's a one main reason to buy from the online store… you get to customise your cup completely.
However, they're also normally cheaper for the actual product (excluding shipping) than buying elsewhere.
You can buy more than one and get the 24% discount.
It comes prepacked in a box if you want to give it as a gift for easy wrapping.

If you don't think 24% off is a bargain, show me where you can get it cheaper for the same product.

      Edit
PS. Most items purchased online require you to pay for shipping. This is still 24% cheaper for the product than the item was originally.

  • Thanks i been wanting to get a keepcup but probably will get it from my local coffee shop, they give you a free coffee also no shipping cost….

  • Last week there was a post for FREE keep cups https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71483
I got 8 of them for friends and family.
Dont know if it's still going but I got mine from a sushi shop in the lane because the promo people had left.

    • Was this deal available in all states?

    • They were pre-branded though and you didn't get a choice of colour.
But yes, if you lived in Melbourne, it was a good deal.

I've been looking out for a deal on these cups as I need a couple of extra small cups.

    Compiled the following information.
    [Size : Price]
    XS:$7.60 / S:$9.12 / M:$10.64/ L:$12.16

    Extra Small: 120ml
    Small: 227ml
    Medium: 340ml
    Large: 454ml

It looks like shipping cost could kill the deal: works out to be $6 for a single small size cup and $7.92 for two small size cups when adding them to cart. Not sure if this coupon code discounts shipping price.

If you're near a good coffee shop you should be able to pick these up for $12.50 and they should also allow you to customize the colour of the lid/band/cup/plug.

This is a good deal if you plan to buy more than 2 cups.

    • Great work!
I've never seen a shop though that has the same range of colours as the online store.

  • I've never seen these before! Great idea, I must say. I'll have a look at some of my local coffee shops and see if they're able to cater me with this product. If so, I'll definitely get one!

  • A medium Keep Cup at Readings for Instance is $14. On the KeepCup website, you can choose your own colours. $14 + $6 shipping…the promo code gives you $3.36 off = Total cost of order: $16.64. So you essentially pay $2.64 to choose your own colours. Initially, I thought this was a good deal, but not for me.

And seriously. This is a cup. Who cares about the colour. It's a cup.

    • Hipsters and inner city trendies?

    • Do you pick the colour of your car, or your shirts or your linen or your paint?
We express ourselves partly through our choices in colour. It partly allows us to differentiate ourselves from everyone else. It's also normally very easy to tell which is your cup.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I wouldn't pay EXTRA to choose my colour of anything. A decent choice at a store is fine, i personally, dont need to design a cup with 4 different colours that speak to me and make it my very own personal/unique cup i can have a deep emotional attachment to.

    • Because we are not boring black and white drones.

    • Something the wife keeps reminding me about: don't forget about the environment

      • How does buying another unnecessary consumer product help the environment?? Don't remember that in my Env Science degree course.

(I gave my Uni students plain white $2 mugs, art supplies, & encouraged them to decorate them themselves - incorparating their name facing my way - to help my poor memory. Always popular, & everyone knew their own cup. Not necessarily any less damage to the environment, but much higher creativity quotient that this company spins.)

Meh, we sell the "large size" every day for $13 or less

    http://www.homesboutique.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=eco+…

    Anyways,

  • I guess 24% off is a bargain, but it is still more expensive than similar cups in stores. My wife bought me something like that from Kathmandu store, I am sure she said it was $10. (yes I know its not the same, but close enough)

  • The Keep Cups are one of the better ones. Also great they don't easily leak with their "plug". I also like the material.

As for the environment, I think having one or two cups of takeaway coffee a day I end up chucking out a lot of paper cups with lids. It's more of a waste than anything else.
