'Karma, karma, karma, karma, karma Camellia…'

    I come and go there….

  • I vaguely recall from 2008~2009 that diesel was cheaper than petrol…

  • Why is this so expensive? Why is this a deal?

    • +1

Most place still sells diesel @ over $2/L, so this is a deal.

      • +2

        so this is a deal.

It's only 7 cents cheaper than 7-Eleven. It belongs in the fuel forums

        • +1

It was below $1.85 the other day at 711 and I didn't even think it was that cheap (I don't use diesel so I wouldn't know)

        • Yep, but this is more accessible to everyone locally!

          • @lordra: I checked with a few of my locals and they don't agree…

  • Fuel cost wise, is Diesel cheaper than Petrol?

    • Not for the last year that I know of, no. ☹️

  • Is premium diesel actually a thing??

    • No. It’s just an additive that makes it less frothy

  • Diesel is meant to be cheaper. I understand in the refinement process, it comes out earlier than unleaded, and therefore should be easier/quicker and more efficient to produce, but they just don't produce enough I think.

    • -1

Diesel is meant to be cheaper.

      How so?

It's mainly supply and demand that determines the price… not the cost to produce.

      This isn't how it works.

It is supply and demand. If demand goes up, or supply down, then it becomes more expensive.

  • I don't want premium, i just want normal shitty diesel.

    • You'll find that the prices between the two atm are just about 1-2c. So may as well go with premium (unlike petrol, which is nuts).
