Stop gap solution for training to get you through

hi everyone

was wondering if there is a way to get some training to use welding equipment at the local mens shed to cover the shed if something happens before you are financially ready to pay for welding course or use of power tools course to be able to use grinder and welding equipment.

most of you know the place of work is for sale and may sell at anytime and because of that am trying to do as much at a time as possible towards it.

at moment have the whs course, test and tag refresh (whole test and tag thing again with whs if it ends up being as cheap or cheaper to do it again) and the work at heights and white card course plus the running business side course to get building contractor license plus relevant courses and cant afford to do the welding one too at moment which would cover welder and cut off saw.

do plan to do all above courses just cant afford it all at once and trying to do as much as possible at a time incase shop sells quick but cant afford to do courses or training for the local mens shed welding equipment at moment just to be able to use it.

what would be a stop gap solution to all above until the money is there to be able to pay for all training as all that training is going to cost money.

You know OP copied it from another forum when the last two words are PMReply.

Rather than making all these random threads and then abandoning then, you should probably participate in them…

We don't know the guys that frequent your local mens shed so there's no way we can answer this…

Decimal value of 10001 binary number. Result. 10001 = 17.

    Wot

  • Have you actually been to this "Mens Shed"? It might not be what you think it is.

    • Was very disappointed it was just a bunch of old blokes!

  • Just commit a serious crime and get sent to prison. You can take free welding courses and they even have a huge shed with tools and everything else you need with all your other life dramas

You can still post your spam on OzBargain in prison too

I feel like if I use some open source code from GitHub to build a chat-bot, it would generate more meaningful sentence than OP….

Also what is a solution for now until you can get the ideal thing to be able to have your own office area where you got your own computer and quiet area to be able to do work stuff in piece.

A few people at the local school have their own office and it makes you realise how much you want that.

The only way that am able to think of is have your own place but at moment it isn’t really a option and was just looking for permanent ideas until then.

Reason own house is taking longer than it’d take most people is because am wanting to buy and not rent and be limited and go through current problems people are having.

Why should we help you when you won't help us by responding to other people's comments?

      • OP is a great reason not to smoke meth infront of a PC with ozbargain open
