Not sure why the negs… I found it hilarious, especially if your guests like a little bit of spit.

Unfortunately Aldi ones still pwn @ $25.

    • aldi electrics = fail. (3 strikes on me already).
having said that, it was easy to get my money back

Those expressi frothers ones are awesome mate! No joke!

We didn't think so - even if the little coil thingy in the bottom was just barely covered, it frothed out all over the bench. Took it back the next week

        • I guess that's why they come with lids?

  • Reject shop also have same ones, rebranded, as Aldi used to sell (not the expressi ones linked above, but the older style). $25

    • I bought an old aldi one (like the current reject shop one) many years ago. it's still going strong with daily use at work with my Aeropress. Only thing that's starting to suffer is the switch. it popped out the other day, but went back in fine. still heats and froths perfectly. well, the timer has always run too long so you'll get scalded milk, but if you just hold your hand on the outside like a barista you can manually switch it off when it's too hot to hold your hand against. This is something you can't do with the expressi ones as their insulated so you can't tell what temp the inside is at.

  • :( can't win me all.

  • These were there for $25 during Mothersday sales. I bought one mainly to heat milk in. Last week I returned it to Tatget & got my money back because it started switching off in less than a minute without heating the milk to the appropriate Tempreture (69C).
I didn't take a replacement because I was disappointed of the short life span.
Anyway it was really handy & use around 3 times a day to heat milk to make milk tea.
I hope the problem was with that particular machine & not the whole stock.
