      You can exchange the physical (EFTPOS) version of the Restaurant gift card for the digital (Mastercard) version of the Restaurant gift card that can be added to Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Pay.

      Go to this webpage, scroll halfway down the page until you see Pay safer and faster using your mobile wallet, click/tap Go Digital and then follow the prompts.

        WookieMonster, if I swap the physical by the digital MasterCard and add it to ApplePay. Could I use it for all the purchases through Apple Pay or only restaurants as well?

          The digital Restaurant gift card is still a category-restricted gift card, so you cannot redeem it at every merchant type.

          Interestingly, you may be able to redeem a digital Restaurant gift card at merchants using the Fast Food Restaurant merchant category code. Someone commented a while ago that this sometimes works for them at fast food restaurants, but doesn't work other times.

      I have used both restaurant and pub and bar at dome. The Dome did sell alcohol. I am unsure if that is all stores.

    Is the Him giftcard can be used directly at JB store, or do we have to swap it on TCN website to JB card first? Also, anyone know if JB would allow us to use it to buy nintendo eshop prepaid card?

      The answers depend on whether you’re going in-store or online (and I’ll end up paraphrasing the related entry in the FAQ page linked in OP’s description).

      In-store

      You can redeem TCN gift cards directly in-store at JB Hi-Fi, as they are essentially EFTPOS gift cards that are restricted to a specific list of participating retailers. Here are some instructions on how to redeem them:

      • If you need to redeem multiple TCN gift cards in one transaction, let the staff know you’d like to do split payments or use more than one EFTPOS card.

      • Tell staff at the counter that you would like to pay by Card. (If you instead tell staff that you want to pay by Gift Card, they will think you want to pay using a JB Hi-Fi gift card. TCN gift cards are redeemed differently when compared with JB Hi-Fi gift cards, so try to avoid confusing the staff.)

      • Swipe the EFTPOS gift card on the EFTPOS terminal.

      • When prompted to choose between SAV, CHQ and CR, select SAV.

      • Key in the four-digit PIN on the back of the gift card and press Enter.

      You could exchange part or the full balance of the TCN gift card on the TCN website first for a JB Hi-Fi gift card and then try to use the JB Hi-Fi gift card in-store as a payment method, but that is honestly too much hassle for your situation, especially since it can be a bit of a grey area whether you can use a JB Hi-Fi gift card to purchase third-party gift cards (e.g. Nintendo eShop, Steam, Apple, Google Play) at JB Hi-Fi.

      You should be able to use TCN gift cards to purchase nearly all gift cards at JB Hi-Fi. I’ve used EFTPOS and Ultimate gift cards in the past to purchase Apple gift cards at JB Hi-Fi and I had no issues, so I do not see why it would be an issue for you trying to use a TCN gift card to purchase a Nintendo eShop Gift Card. The only item you’re not allowed to purchase at JB Hi-Fi using TCN (or Ultimate) gift cards is JB Hi-Fi gift cards, but that is not relevant for your situation. (This rule is not enforced by staff a lot of the time, anyway.)

      Online

      You cannot redeem physical TCN gift cards (including the ones in this deal) directly on the JB Hi-Fi website, because they are EFTPOS gift cards, and EFTPOS is not available for online transactions.

      However, some participating retailers in the TCN gift card scheme (including JB Hi-Fi, at the moment anyway) will let you exchange part or the full balance of a TCN gift card for a digital gift card for a participating retailer. To do this:

      • Go to the webpage for the TCN gift card you have (in this case, the HIM card).
      • Scroll down to the How To Use section
      • Choose the desired participating retailer from the dropdown list
      • Click/tap on the Online button to the right of the box or dropdown list (only required for participating retailers that permit TCN gift cards to be redeem in-store as well)
      • Click/tap on Proceed
      • Follow the subsequent steps to have the digital gift card emailed to you.

      You can redeem an unlimited number of JB Hi-Fi gift cards on the JB Hi-Fi website, but the issue is that JB Hi-Fi does not sell Nintendo eShop Gift Cards on their online store, so that is not helpful for your situation.

    I purchased 2*$100 TCN pub and bar gift card from Woolworths. It gave me no points! Then I contacted Everyday Rewards Customer service. They added the points manually.

      I have done the same thing in the past and contacted woolworths before regarding the no points. IT seems a waste of my time and everyones else time that we have to chase them up and wait a hour on the phone to get through to them
