Gaming PC Spec Help Needed

I am a noob and i need some help. I have the choice of the following predator pc specs.

Which do you think is the better spec. I am tending towards the 3070 card spec option 2
Note they are both the same price.

Option one
Predator Orion 5000 Model PO5-615., Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD & 2TB HDD, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super

Option two
Predator Orion 3000, Intel Core i7-11th Gen, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD & 1TB HDD, NVIDIA RTX 3070

Option 2 is undoubtably much better. Newer and better graphics card and probably CPU too. How much are you paying for it though?

RTX 3070 is so much better than the RTX 2070S. You didn't state which gen the i7 is for Option one, but even if it's the 12700K, Option two is still more worthwhile. A 2TB HDD is probably <$50 more expensive than a 1TB HDD.

3070 is a far superior card, definitely get that if they're the same price.
HDDs are reasonably cheap, so it won't be too expensive to upgrade the extra 1TB when you need it in the future.

Does it say which model i7 specifically in each build?

Edit: almost the same answer as the above comment, stepped away while I was writing :P

    • Thanks all for the quick replies.

      Option one
      i7-10700K

      Option two
      Intel® Core™ i7-11700 Processor

Both CPU's have excellent performance benchmarks and are so close as to be indistinguishable in real life for gaming performance.

        https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-11700-vs…

The i7-10 and i7-11 prefixes show that they are 10th and 11th generation respectively, for some tasks the 11th generation will perform a little better and it's newer, so you may as well pick that one. Together with the 3070 GPU is the much better deal if the prices are the same.

Userbenchmarks is a trash resource. Wouldn’t rely on them for accurate scores.
Also 11th Gen uses PCIe Gen 4 (assuming Motherboard supports it) while 10th is restricted to Gen 3. You’d probably not get much performance difference with a 3070 but it’s a consideration if you want to upgrade the GPU down the line

So a far superior graphics card, and newer CPU for the same price (less 1TB of storage, which is easy to upgrade), this is an easy choice…
Unless you really want that K model i7 for overclocking, which I wouldn't recommend.

Thanks all, my gut said the 3070…and it's a good size gut:-)

    You have all been great.
