Is this actually a bargain? That’s an over inflated RRP and there aren't any other Australian retailers carrying this watch where you may compare prices.

It's a limited edition, some have already sold for $900 or $1000 on eBay and once sold out elsewhere I'm sure the price will go even over the rrp.

dont see any sold on egay

are they doing limited edition models every month / every year? Oprah you get a limited edition model, you get a limited edition model, everyoneeeee gets a limited edition model.

    • Just like Seiko RRP. Never pay more than half price.

Does the blue one glow in the dark as well?

Yes, they use smurf cum coating

  • Hmm very interested, gonna have to eat migorine next week if I buy this

  • I'm quite grateful there are smart watches out there so I can dissuade myself from buying these good-looking old-school watches.

I don't see the appeal of paying $600 for an apple watch or something if you have a phone, that sort of tech gets out dated pretty fast, but it's more the having to charge it every day that would suck.
Still wear a Fitbit though as well as proper watches, those things are handy, pretty cheap and the battery lasts for a week almost.

      • Honestly I would love a classic watch like the ones in this post, with simply a vibrate function to tell me I am getting a call or text. I don't care for the rest of the features. The best I have found is the Garmin Instinct Solar, it does the basics and lasts approx a month before needing to charge. Haven't even used the other features beyond playing with the gimmicks. I would love to see mobs like Tissot and Bulova doing something like that.

        • Yeah true, Solar seems like the winning feature, enjoying grabbing this Seiko tuna solar and it's always set, keeps very good time too.

I think Tissot was onto something with their titanium T-touch, but personally would never use those features like compass etc.

Don't mind always wearing the Fitbit charge 5 on the other arm, very minimal, long battery, Bluetooth notifications (but leave bt off on the phone to use less battery), PayPass, tracks 24/7 etc.

Getting a watch that is legible and decent quality is the main criteria these days for ease of telling the time :)

I saw this pretty early, but didn't post it, i didn't think it was much of a deal. Way overpriced.

you are paying for the limited edition, all 3 watches are 1,989 units for the 1st, and 600 for the other 2

  • These actually look quite good without that weird removable strap thing!

  • I'm tempted, but not the watch you take hunting or outdoors, prefer a 70 dollar Casio. Definitely for collecting occasion wear

  • Brown looks nice as a daily

    • Pretty busy faces, depends what you like.

  • Is this type Eco-Drive ?

  • Crap! These are huge. Maybe for their 30th they should have a series of watches closer to the size of their watches 30 years ago (under 40mm)

  • They look pretty but chonky. Too much going on in the face for me personally.
