I bought that one. That was model of last year. LS32AM

This one is 2022 model of M7, LS32BM

    VA panel, if anyone interesting.

    • what are VA like compared to IPS ? don’t need the speed but do want good viewing angle and colours.

      • I think at this size you'd want ips if the monitor isn't curved. There's going to be some color/gamma shifting going on

Black smearing on VAs made me swear off them.

        An example

  • Thanks OP been waiting for this one, bought one C&C for bedroom office and movies

why limit a good monitor that ticks most boxes with 60Hz refresh rate seriously its 2022 not 2017 ?

    • +2

Seriously the monitor is $400 not $900. Go buy the Dell 32" if you want high refresh.

      • -3

not my point I would nt pay 900 for a monitor in any case. My point is in 2022 144hz monitors are common at reasonable prices doesn't take a huge cost increase to up the refresh rate nothing more nothing less

Many ppl out there need a 144 rfrsh rate due to eyesight probs

Your point is stupid, you're asking for bleeding edge at budget prices. Yes 144hz is common… For qhd or wqhd. Name another 4k 120/144hz monitor out there at this price, even at the more popular 27" size…

Obviously cheap to implement hdmi 2.1 or driverboard that can sustain the sheer amount of processing power for 4k 144hz, that's why even budget tv's all have this feature right?

Why don't we take it a notch up and ask for oled at this price?

  • Beware folks: intermittent fault where usb-c video fails and you have to unplug power to fix it.

I was ready to return the damn thing until I found the thread, it happens about 1 in 5 times, at RRP it's a deal breaker, but at $450 it's bareabale.

  • I got the bigger one from this .
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/698598
It’s been a great monitor and tv. Use it occasionally for work with documents in the cloud and as 2nd monitor . Size could be slightly bigger but happy for the price under $500. Not many TV/ monitor with good brand and nice quality for the price. Great integration for Samsung owners.

  • Can anyone figure out the “normal” power consumption for this monitor? The Samsung website lists the maximum as 150w which seems very high

    • Probably includes the usb pass thru power.

  • I bought the last year's model and mainly used it for watching movies, it's good value but be aware that the remote control consumes too much battery and doesn't last for 1week of use even on standby.

  • This or wait for a cheap IPS?
