Use this for PC and love it. Have bought scuf and razer controllers in the past and this is the best option imo.

  • Great controller but am on K&M now

    Not quite.

    Nother the less, still cheap.

I tried this controller twice and both times it developed very bad drifting. They replaced on one occasion and even the replacement developed the same problem. Not good for a controller that cost so much.

    • +1

yeah I had similar issue and they had non in stock so I ended up switching to K&M.
Otherwise I was absolutely slapping in FPS games with this, the 4 remappable buttons on the backand the trigger stops were life changing (competitive shooter wise)

      • Can the looseness of the sticks be adjusted to be firmer on these? Hate how loose the normal Xbox controllers are, terrible for fps games

        • Yup 3 or 4 adjustments as far as I remember. Also has changeable thumbsticks too. Used to play on tighter setting

    • Is it the left joystick? I received the controller last week, and after 2 hours and it's already hard to move.

Bought it on Telstra points so resent it to Telstra and waiting to hear back from them now…

      • +1

You should have contacted Microsoft directly. Hopefully it won't take too long. Drift affects the movement so it's always the left stick unless we don't notice the right one due to less precise and less frequently used functionality.

$200 for a console controller… come on now.

    • +1

Wait until Sony releases the Dualsense Edge.

    • +3

It's also one of the best controllers for windows 🙄😂

  • How much stick drift do you accept before buying a new one..?
Bought mine late 2019, it copped a beating during 2020 especially, ah those call of duty days

    • You mean, how much stick drift does EB Games accept on a trade in? :)

  • Not a bad price but would rather stump up the extra and get a SCUF or even better; a Battle Beaver.

damn son i could get a ducky keyboard and deathadder v2 pro for this price

    • +2

Could also get a lot of big Mac's, still wouldn't be a controller.
Could get 2 normal Xbox controllers but apparently this one is worth more for the features.

      • how many big macs? difference is my example is similar use case as a controller

        • Like they said…'Still wouldnt be a controller'

          • -1

@mantrex19: basically is, does the same shit just costs more

            • @s1Lence: 'Basically is'

              • case in point, so its still not a controller!

'Does the same shit just costs more'

              • where are the joysicks at on his keyboard and mouse?

              • also by this logic you could use any 3rd party/after market controller…even the $20 ones on ebay, why buy your recommendation when i could buy something that as you put does the same shit for a lot cheaper?

              • -1

@mantrex19: Still serves the same function, buying this for 200+ is silly unless you're either a fool or rich.

                • +1

@s1Lence: Out of curiosity, have you used this controller?

Also if you're gonna put everything in the same box/category of serving the same function, then you might as well tell everyone, including yourself to just get a cheap $20-$30 control, your mouse and keyboard suggestion becomes a victim to your own argument!

                  • @mantrex19: Idk if there are reliable $20 controllers out there. I do know that there are good ones for less than half the price of this though, I'd tell someone to get that instead.

                    • @s1Lence: Sure if your after just a reliable controller…

but thats why this is at a premium though, you're paying for the extras you don't get on a normal controller.

                • @s1Lence: Why buy a ducky keyboard and a razor mouse when you can buy 10 cheapo keyboard and mouse combo's? Especially considering the $5 mouse in the package will last longer than the razor.

                  • @Nitr0: I've had those mice before and they break apart faster than OzBargainers when called out for not posting bargains.

    • +1

Sheesh I could get an Elite Controller for that price.

      • XD true XD

  • Fair enough although it's totally irrelevant to someone wanting a controller.
Like posting on a Tesla post a Honda CBR is cheaper.

  • +1

WTF? $211.16? Seriously, this is a (OZ)bargain for an XBox controller? Really? This cost half of the console itself! lol

    • +1

So many uneducated comments on here lol.

      • But Madcatz sell a controller for $20 AND IT HAS RGB /s
        Ozreviews at it again

    • +3

Yes, ozbargain, not ozpovo. A bargain is a bargain, even if it is much higher than you would pay for such an item.

There are Teslas, whiskys, business class tickets on ozbargain. Save your energy and move on when the deal isn’t for you.

You fellas need to get a life and get your priorities straight. Though hey, it's your choice and it's free country and am just airing my opinion. Take it or leave it. No need to get butt hurt. lol

        • +2

Hahaha are you dismissive or don’t care? Pick a lane

        • +2

Your priority should be ignore post's you don't care about but if you must comment do a bit of research first …..lol.

  • It's a pro controller.

Unfortunately my controller has issues with the RB button (I haven't used it nearly as much as my other controllers) and I haven't managed to fix it using the YouTube tutorial. Just something that people might want to be aware of. It's not an uncommon issue.

    • Is that where it gets mushy? A friend of mine had this with a regular controller but it was still under warranty

      • I have the same issue with my regular controller last week…
Sorry can I ask how did your friend go about fixing it under warranty? Did he contact Microsoft directly or via the retailer?

        • +1

His was bought directly from Microsoft so we contacted them and they sent a shipping label. I would contact whichever retailer you bought it from though
