Not according to their terms.
A “Qualifying Purchase” means any purchase through the Cashrewards system in line with the prevailing terms and conditions which results in cashback to the member.
All subscription services, digital services and surveys including but not limited to iTunes, Woolworths Gift Cards and Audible are expressly excluded from this promotion.

My mates refer a friend is still pending after he used my code & purchased over $20 months ago. The purchase approved, the refer a friend didn't.
So anyone signing up may be waiting a while/may never get it.
My last 5-6 purchases all did not cash back. Few hundreds of Aus dollar of cash back.
First 2 is Optus data plan, then Boost, then Myer purchase, and another 2 I can't remember.

Shouldn't have to get support given it's meant to be automated, and seems like their support has gotten worse over the last year or two, guess the margins must be getting thinner with competition popping up left and right
