Seems quite expensive compared to this expired T7 Shield deal. But no local warranty, only a full refund from Amazon if a quality issue occurs.

T7 itself was cheaper via UK as well. I've had success with RMA's on Samsung SSDs bought overseas before. Dunno if others have had issues.

      • Did they make you ship it back overseas?

          No. Samsung Australia is here.

  • That was then this is now … $297

No longer available but that was a good deal. I purchased the same unit at the last Black Friday, sourced from Amazon U.K. for AUD288.00.

Ten months down the track this is a beautifully crafted unit that has live up to my expectations. Fast, safe, reliable. and very compact. There is no point comparing with T7 Shield units which appear to be being dumped on the market everywhere. I's not experienced them personally, however I keep seeing feedback, reviews about compatibility issues so I have steered away from purchasing one.

  • So annoying that the blue ones cost heaps more, for the same drive !

  • its good deal.
