Can this deal still be classed as a 'deal' anymore considering it's been ongoing everyday for some time now?

Perhaps this is Menulog's sneaky way to get an advertisement into Ozbargain everyday!

I don't always get the code in my account, so I find it useful.

Would be nice if someone posted WA codes so they can be used for longer.

        Make a megathread.

      • +1 for the WA codes.. I wonder if someone will take up on it it is a big ask

Yeah I’m a bit over seeing it

      • Click here then click the 3 dot menu and 'hide from new deals page' and 'hide from front page'. eg.

You won't see this particular Menulog deal again, but will still see others.

Being posted as a deal also pushes the code to the store page daily.

        • I would but I don't want to miss all deals for 'Menulog $7/$6/$5 off', just this one which is essentially a long-running deal that is not currently easily supported by OzBargain's due to it's unique daily code.

          • @bargainpersona: That OzBargain tag was created just for this daily deal. You won't miss anything else by hiding it.

            • @hamza23: Is there nothing is stopping someone else using it? It comes up as a suggestion in the drop down when creating a new deal and it certainly does not sound unique to this deal.

              • @bargainpersona: If a user did mis-tag a deal, moderators manually review every deal after submission and would fix it. You can see yourself by scrolling through the pages that only this deal is tagged as such.

                • @hamza23: Tagging some other deal that also offers $5-$7 dollars off Menulog (and is also more permissive) wouldn't be mis-tagging. It is not like it is particularly specific.

                  • @bargainpersona:

moderators manually review every deal after submission and would fix it

                    • @hamza23: Yes, I read that but didn't (and still don't really) see that applying this rather generic tag to applicable deals as mis-tagging, so there would be nothing to fix as far as I could tell.

                      • @bargainpersona: Moderators know the tag is only used for this particular deal and would remove it, if another deal uses this tag. This tag was created by moderators specifically for this daily deal, so users could hide the tag if they didn't want to see these posts each day.

I've used these codes regularly, often the $5 is enough to get it cheaper than directly through the restaurant, who don't always except PayPal either. So IMO keep them coming

Thanks for that and ALWAYS appreciate these posts. Ignore the whingers who couldd as easily just ignore these daily posts or block them.
