Lenovo Thinkplus K3 Bluetooth 5.0 Speaker US$8.72 (~A$12.97) Delivered @ Kechuangrui Global AliExpress

810
DLL394HUBH6K

This deal is back and this time cheaper than before, which I think is really good value for nearly $13 AUD. While I don't own this speaker myself, my Lenovo L01 and Lenovo K3 Plus speakers pack plenty of punch for the price.

Featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, clear sound with good bass, True Wireless Stereo for pairing 2 speakers together, 1200mAh battery providing 6-8 hours of playtime, Micro USB for charging, inbuilt microphone and buttons on the bottom for power, media control and calls.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and doesn't stack with cashback.

Are these products in real from Lenovo ? Why they ain't available in other markets ?

    • +5

They're available in China online at JD, Tmall etc. and some have the LeEco branding which Lenovo now owns.

As for how legit they are that's another question as Lenovo don't list everything on their own website. Some Lenovo branded products like their Life brand are manufactured by 3rd parties and I've seen their speakers and earphones on a lot of those manufacturer websites. Ideally you'd need to ask someone from Lenovo China.

Can you connect 2 of them to the 1 pc?

    • +4

Yeah. You can pair the two speakers together and then connect one to the computer via Bluetooth and it'll play from both.

      • What do you pair the 2 speaks with? cable or bluetooth to bluetooth?

        • +4

Bluetooth to Bluetooth. That's what the True Wireless Stereo is for.

    • Any Bluetooth device that is 5.0 version or above can be paired with multiple speakers to give true stereo sound.
Your PC must have Bluetooth 5.0 also. Once paired they should stay connected (as in reconnect) even when you turn the speakers off then on again.
I'm not sure if all Bluetooth 5.0 devices can do this but Linus Tech Tips paired 100 Anker speakers for stereo+ X100 sound

You can - I bought in the last deal and it took me a bit to work out how. Instructions below I use them as speakers for my computer but they are pretty crap (which is fair enough for the price). I'll probably upgrade to something better in the future.

How to Pair Lenovo K3 Stereo (2 Speakers):
      1. Long press the ON button on both speakers at the same time.
      2. Then press 2 times the play button on one of the speakers (to start pairing)
      3. On the main speaker the notification LED will flash blue. while on the second speaker the notification LED will be blue continuously (standby)
      4. Connect the speaker by activating bluetooth on the device to be connected

Note: If you want to unpair, press 2 times the play button on one of the speakers.

    Waterproof

Don't believe the product description, this thing is not waterproof.

  • I know this is 1/3 the price but should i get this or the BlueAnt X1 deal

Are these noticeably better than a half decent phone speaker?

    • Depends on how half decent a phone is. Certainly better than my half-decent Motorola with a single speaker.

  • Do you know why I couldn't order 2?

    • Code is single use sadly.

Good thing AliExpress don't use sea mail unless you're ordering a shipping container. I've had quite a few recent orders arrived in 1-2 weeks.

The picture said K3 Wireless BT Speaker. I thought BT is supposed to be wireles. They might be a wired version of BT speaker. Any specifications from Lenonvo website? Probably Lenovo sold the brand to some 3rd parties to produce speakers.

    • Not sure where you're seeing that they're wired. Most certainly Bluetooth speakers.

      • whats so bad about micro usb?

        • +9

Just bad for people trying to phase out microUSB from their lives, and transition all equipment to USB-C.

          • @TimeOrMoney: Sounds like first world problems

            • +1

@Jujovitu: A lot of people want.to shop in a way that forces companies to come to a single connection format party. Maybe reduce future e-waste that way.

Think of the cubic miles of early iPhone chargers that all became redundant and now sit in trash piles.

        • whats good about it ?

  • Bought a pair. Xmas gifts for nieces and nephews.

  • +1

didnt need it, bought it … picked up 2 other random items from Cart on Ali that I didnt need for a month… /facepalm

  • +2

Lifehack: Mould a 50cm ruler (plastic or metal) into a U shape and glue 2 of these speakers to each end,
pair the speakers, Voila! bluetooth headphones!!

    • This or an airpods max?

    • Not some thick coir rope?

  • Are these better than the $1 deal you can get from Joseph Prince website?

    • Link?

    • Not sure why ideal says expired. I just picked one up

      • +1

Deals automatically expire after a set time unless they're extended by a mod.

  • So minimum spend is 14.74 and it doesn't let you to buy more than 1 hmm… deal killer. nothing els I want.

  • These are fine, sound the tiniest bit tinny but sufficient for basic use

  • +1

Super basic speaker. Basically just a loud speaker phone. I got one a couple months ago, wasn't too impressed. ZERO bass. It does sound clear though, ie. Not muddy.

  • +1

Speakers arrived yesterday, sound was fuzzy and distorted when connecting up my phone. Anyone else had the same problem?
