hard to stomach paying $599 an hour after people got it for $299 🤣

      • Colour accuracy is largely irrelevant for media consumption, but the higher contrast of VA panels looks a lot better. Hence why virtually all LED TVs use VA panels. On some panels, the high contrast can cause ghosting at high refresh rates.

What the heck. Did jbhifi just push this price up by another 200 dollars on the same day of the perk??

WTFF!! This was $299 just a few hours ago, plus $30-odd postage. Are they jacking or what?? If that's the case, i'll never buy from them again. Same reason i stopped buying from pccg

  • Not a deal, seen better monitors for less, got better monitors for much less

It honestly wasn't a great deal for $299, but paying $599 for this is just obscene.

Show me any thing near a 32, 1440p 144hz at this price.. anything at all. Specially an asus.

Oh, the title says 2k (1080p) but it's 2560x1440 in the spec sheet. The $299 deal was very good then. This 34" 144hz 3440x1440 ultra-wide is always on sale for $450-500. With the recent Ebay promo it's a mere $428.

This still isn't a good deal, but I wouldn't have negged it had I known it was 1440p.

        Specially an asus

ASUS don't make panels or even monitors, very few companies do. ASUS contract an OEM to make monitors for them and they stick their branding on it. You would need to look at independent reviews to gauge things like colour accuracy and actual response times. Shopping for monitors based on brand name is very naive.
