Just a heads up, if you looking at this for a laptop that this 2tb version is double sided and might not play well with some laptops.

Yeup, the kc3000 is faster and supports 256 encryption.

The crucial P5 Plus is near the same as the kc3000 but still slower.

  • Does anyone know how bpc handle their shipping? cant really find any info on their site. Only the "BPC Premium Shipping Option" which make me more nervous on their shipping, why do you need to pay A$10 for "Freight Insurance" specifically ? Does their shipment got damage and lost often?

Online retailers are technically responsible for items until you get them in your hands, so if your $300 SSD gets lost then BPC need to provide a refund. Insurance means BPC can then get a refund from the postal office for losing the package - otherwise they'd be out for the cost of the SSD.

All of the online pc part retailers are pretty reliable, but occasionally mistakes can happen. Every case I've had has been resolved both with BPC and others.

      • thank you!

So I dont have to select the option then.
