Officeworks seems to be the hardest to access any discounts. Gift card portals literally offer NO options for discounted gift cards. They aren't included in the regular sale 10% off gift cards at Woolworths & Coles.
Does anyone know how to save big at Officeworks? I know they price match Costco, but the item I need Costco doesn't stock. It's the iPhone 11 128gb.
No they don't. I wasted a good 30 minutes with them waiting to verify a price beat on a Pixel 5 last year only to be told 'sorry, we don't match against Telstra' (or some BS issued from HO).
I went to JB and they did it no probs.

I’m fairly sure Officeworks is available via Shopback, as Shopback partners with Prezzee and Officeworks was added to Prezzee earlier this year. I don’t think there is a separate listing for Officeworks on Shopback, but you should find Officeworks on the Super Swap gift card. 2% ain’t much of a discount, but you may think it is better than nothing.
If you have a credit card that gets targeted with cashback offers for Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice Liquor or Myer, you can get cashback from purchasing a Coles Group & Myer gift card in those stores. The Coles Group & Myer gift card can be used at Officeworks (in-store only). My AMEX and Westpac credit cards were targeted with offers from Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, First Choice Liquor or Myer, recently, so I currently have nearly $700 in Coles Group & Myer gift cards and I received $75 in cashback from these offers. I will admit this is dependent on receiving cashback offers, and I don’t regularly receive such offers at these retailers, so it is probably not helpful for your situation.
Coles has started running occasional bonus Flybuys points deals on Officeworks gift cards, but the last one was last month. You only get 2000 Flybuys points per Flybuys account during that deal (and you had to spend a minimum of $100 on an Officeworks gift card). Who knows when the next deal is (and yes, it sucks for someone who is looking to spend a lot at Officeworks).
If you were wondering, you cannot use (discounted) Coles, Kmart or Target digital gift cards to purchase Coles Group & Myer gift cards (or Officeworks gift cards) at Coles, Kmart or Target. You will either see generic “you cannot use gift cards to purchase gift cards” messages on the main checkout screen, or you will get an Invalid Product Mix error on the EFTPOS terminal.
But yes, as mentioned before, your best bet to get a good deal is to price beat rather than discounted gift cards, especially if you’re a reseller who is hoping to spend heaps at Officeworks.

Considering OP is in “exports” (i.e. probably a reseller), they probably want to get an Android as cheap as possible from Officeworks too.
Androids are never cheap enough in the Australian market to be competitive at an international level but Apple is. Officeworks are a real hard ball in the discount game.
FYI Officeworks was added to the Ultimate gift card scheme within the last week, which opens up a new avenue for discounted gift cards at Officeworks.

In the Officeworks context, gift cards merely refer to Officeworks gift card or Coles Group & Myer gift card, because that is how their sales system is set up.
If you redeem an Ultimate gift card at Officeworks (either instore or online), Officeworks' sales system will identify it as a Visa card.
If you redeem an Officeworks gift card or Coles Group & Myer gift card at Officeworks (instore), Officeworks' sales system will identify it as a gift card.
That means the FAQ you pulled up is only referring to Officeworks gift cards or Coles Group & Myer gift cards.
On the Ultimate gift card website, for online shopping, it also tells you to enter the Ultimate gift card's details into the same section on the online checkout where you enter in a regular Visa card:

So far I've success doing lots of pricematch at OW. Mostly price match from JB hifi or Amazon. Also, look for ultimate giftcard for another 10% savings.
They price best anyone (not only Costco) having same model no. Just find cheapest iPhone 11 128gb, visit instore or over phone and ask to price beat by 5%.
